I spend following to file my H1B as told by company but the laywer filed lately so I couldn't get the cap. How much money I will get return?

$1500 ACWIA (Education & Training Fee)

$500 Fraud Prevention & Detection Fee

$190 H1 Fee

$200 H4 fee

$950 Attorney Fee

$285 Education Evaluation

all of it... u should get all the fees that u have paid. maybe the attorney fee might be something u can fight about but all of it..

if u filed ur h1b after may 26 everything should be returned.. they rejected any case recieved after that day

I wonder how come you paid for those items. Your company who hired you pays all the cost necessary for H1B visa including H4 for dependents. This is what my company did for me.

Mero Jageer, All may not be as much lucky as you are. Some companies say you bear all the cost I will provide only required docs. No choice.
Sanjeep71, I think you should be receiving all government fees back. I dont think that you will get education evaluation fee back. Also if you have given material before 26th and your lawyer filed reasonably lately then you may have some ground to bargain for legal fee back....but still there is very less chance that you will get back. After all most lawyers are clever like a fox.
