- "Democracy will be restored. It should be restored," the octogenarian leader said, adding, however, that he did not believe in constituent assembly elections.

- "It is not appropriate to go for constituent assembly elections. I have been against it (constituent assembly) from the very beginning," said Bhattarai, "The current constitution should be reactivated and followed."

It was this leader who betrayed the people in 2046. All he care is getting a bottle of whiskey everyevening.

Just curiosity, how did he betray in 2046???

Lina you are right. I will not be surprised if this friday Deuba comes back as PM again. I will also not be surprised if any other SPA leaders takes up the deal.

I am just keeping my finger crossed and hoping that this time leaders will act maturely and will not sell Nepal again to palace.

Outcome of this movements should be constitution assembly and any compromise other than this would be unfortunate and not helpful to bring Nepal out of crisis.

bhattarai is a bonafide freedom fighter but as a leader and politician he SUCKS. these budhas don't have a radical revolutionary minds they are stuck with their old beliefs and understanding. it can't be changed. although Girija is a nepotist opportunist and what not he is smart enough to reciprocate with the comtemporary new generation.

I totally agree with you. These old leaders do not have vision and guts to go against monarchy. Girija is different case he is opportunist, he does do or mean what he says. We need to change the leadership of parties and transfer the leadership to young generation. Especially Nepali Congress's leadership should be changed it is one among the biggest and popular party but not being led by forward thinking democratic leadership.

Euta katha chha ni Budo Simha ra Lovee Manchhe ko. Bhattarai budo is Budo Simha who is hungry for the post of prime minister before he dies, and thinks that he has some golden ring on his hand and asks Gyane to invite him. Gyane, the Lovee Manchhe of the absolute power believes him and consults (approaches to) him. But, finally this Lovee Manchhe will be cought and the Budo Simha will die.

Bhattrai was among the ones involved in giving King so much power. Instead of punishing the corrupts of Panchayat, he pardoned them. Panchayat ka kukur harulai tika lagayera Nepali Congress ma welcome garne Bhattarai nai ho.

He might not have done anything wrong but he let his chamchas do whatever they wanted....he is as guilty as his chamchas..
