Love the lyrics ....

Thanks cerine for atleast liking the lyrics. To be honest, it took me just five minutes to write the lyrics. I didnt put much thought into it. This is what songwriters are like. Sometimes I can not finish writing a song in 10 days while at other times it takes just five mins.

Its the recording I had to put a lot of effort in the song. By the way, I am looking for a singer, so I hope people will be kind enough on the vocals department. Music wise, I will try to answer any question anyone may have regarding musical technicalities.

Nice one Mahisasur! Practice makes a man perfect I heard :) Are you a song writer, a singer, a musician, a composer? U said you're still looking for a singer- yea, if you plan to sing, lot needs to be done to let the voice out. I listened to your all three songs- Fight.., I'm alrite, Civil war. If you're composer, the instrumental was simply great! If it is original :) Song writer, needs some persistence but a good start. Very good start I'd say- it'll take me ages to pick any of ur talents and get where you're now, but for you to get to where the best ones are, it'll take you a lot of dedication and persistence. Keep it up!!

I nepali, thanks a lot. You had posted one thread where u were talking about slow songs to be strum on guitar. I thought, maybe this is the kind of songs people like most. So I gave this Life Goes On a Beatles-ish tone. Otherwise it would have been a heavy metal song :)

DC-girl, thanks for the encouragement and suggestions. Each points have been noted. carefully. I think I am a musician/composer, and tried my hands at songwriting since 2 days ago :) About singer, I honestly dont have any intention of being a singer. If I had a parrot, I would have trained to sing that song in tune:) I create the tune and have the idea on how the song is to be sung but I simply can not execute it. And I can not just go on posting instrumental songs; so I gave singing a try. Its a shame that I could not sing the chorus in Fight Goes On an octave higher. So I am looking for a singer . I have created the tunes, It doesnt matter who sings it after I get a band together.

And what do you mean "If the song is original"? :) I am proud of each note I have played in Civil War. I read your interesting short story on Sajha (which is till to be continued I think) and can assume you are not new to music and guitar. So if you want to know, I first played the simple riff (rythm) on civil war , listened to it for five minutes , and then turned on my drums machine and started playing the guitar solo. It took me five attempts to nail that down. Its all based on F sharp minor.

Mahisasur, hope to see your album in the market in the near future. I am sure you have already set your sight and is working towards produciing one. Good luck !!
