gwajyo,Birbhadra ... please don't label me as a royalist... i am not supporter of monarchy system neither i am great fan of King Gyanendra.... and i don't believe active monarchy can sustain in 21st century... but i think, right now we do need some one like King Gyanendra to control these politicians.. girija will make sushil next president of Nepali Congress, then it will be sujata .. then may be sujata's son.. is that democracy you(we) are fighting for??? Grija can't unite n work with Shere.. what do you think he will work together with Makune, or C.P. koirala legacy will end sonn in nepali congress. shere split because of this. narahari acharya is a strong contender for next NC president. it is not a permanent thing that only koiralas will run the show.
anyways, regardlessly, there won't be any other king other than the shah if monarchy is sustained. they have never done anything for the betterment of the people. i don't see any reason to support gyane because we don't like girija.

Despite an overwhelming apathy of well to do nepali students to politics, a new generation will definitely question the authority of giriza and makune and lead their parties to democratization. It is a process. It does not happen overnight. I am very optimistic that people like gagan thapa will lead that movement as soon as democracy gets institutionalized.

It was a big mistake that nepali parties could not evolve in due time. I think it is a high time that politically aware sajhaites seriously get into politics as a career. A healthy rivalry is what we need. If contemporary parties do not meet the public aspiration, the vaccum will be filled by another party. So while thinking about democracy, please do not be myopic and envision Nepal ruled by parties like NC and UML.

You could be next PM and be able to drag Khumes et al behind the bar.If you do not get into it, Prachanda could be next PM or president.
