Today is BP memorial day.
A person like BP is a bright spot of our history. It is surprising that why km didn't let him work for this nation. The democratic governemnt of 2015-2017 was doing well. May be km was afraid of BP becoming too popular or going down as great into Nepalese history books. "How can a RAITI gain that prestige?" But by trying to deny BP this chance; he lost his one. In future, when Nepalese history will be written in people's voices, BP will outshine km many times.
But why was palace against BP? It should be grateful to him and all those who fought in 2007. BP as a leader of people reearned their position and pride for them by fighting and defeating ranas' rule.

And at this dark corner, when kg wants to change Nepal into Myanmar and maoists into North Korean type "Animal Farm" (please read this book by George Orwell), we need more of BP's socialist vision. We are anxiously with some another leader with that vision.

My SHRADHDHANJALI to that great soul.

Though, respect should be bestowed upon BP for being a nobel Lauriet and to some extent a good politician, to praise him as a great leader and a role model and demand more BP is going to be a mistake.
BP might as well have led the revolution, but he always let the evil demon of political interest prevail over the better angels of National character, and hence was not able to deliver what he stood for. It is because of him we are still not one as a Nation. The requirements for national unity among citizens is that, there is a common external enemy to continiously compete or hate. If BP had not been so gracious towards the INdians, we too would have some sence of unity among the citizens. It was BP's failure to unite the Citizens in the new democracy, that is in part responsible for the present condition of nepal. Because he himself failed to set a standard as a leader, as a result his students, via the current leaders have all turned out to be nothing more than a rotton sack of potatoes.
However, as a thinker, and a writer, my respect will always be there. But at no circumstance I would want more leaders like BP in Nepal. Because what nepal need is not another politician, but a leader who has a vision to unite the divided country and has all the respect, love and devotion to Nepal , and is rich of National Character.

It's great to pay an honor to a great visionary leader like BP. He was the man with vision for our country. Unfortunately, Nepali Congress limited itself by ritual shrradda. Had Nepali congress tried to materialize BP socialitic vision after 1990, our country would have excelled to India. Let's hope for new generation living around the world will make a Nepal a better palce to live.
