Brings back fond memories of the days I spen playing around the temple as a child. I used to love those turtles in the temple. And do you remember the budho boka that used to stink from miles away?

It's a pity the little "chaur" behind the temple could not be developed into a park or something. Nowadays, there is a beautiful nursery. A guy in my neighborhood leased the land to develop it into a nursery. At least someone was able to make a good use of a land that was being wasted. (used to be sites for aamsabhas during election, voting booths during the election days and even site for traveling circus).

damn so many locals from Maitidevi. alright. woohoo. Haha those turtles in Maitidevi Mandir and that old guy we called him Holk Holgan coz he had white hair. I loved peeping and listening to the guys of "Axe Band" perform under our building. What else? Yeah I will always remember our Late Royal Family visit the temple every Dashain.
