Getting a madal sample will be quite hard unless you cut from somebody else. But that might not always suit your music. I use a VST called SWAR SYSTEM, which is basically an Indian VSTi which can make Tabla, Sitar, Sarangi, Dholak etc. So using on FL and Cubase is quite simple. I would definetly give it to you but the darn thing is a huge file, I'm talking about more than 80 MB and I donot have a CD for it. There's also a thing called TAALMAL, which you can download a demo and see if it suits your need.

I'm sorry it's supposed to be TAALMALA , not Taalmal. U can get the demo. Although it will not let you save your work, but still U can record the beats using Cool Edit just like U record an online song. That might be a solution. It has been a while where I got the Swar System, but it was really really hard to find. I cannot remember the site. Sorry. I think it was from those German Warez site, but the connection was really really slow even though I was using a cable connection.
Let me know if you can find one.

I'd be more than gald to send you the CD. I'm house sitting for a family who're in Europe for a month. They have the cats and dogs that I'm looking after. Me and my wife share a single car which often conflict with time and her job , quite far from here. My work is real close to this house and if I do get a chance to go to my apartment, I'll definetly remember to get the CD. I'll have to dig deep inside the closet. I'll personally contact you through email to get your address.

The dll file itself is 1.66 MB and it's fine to send but ur sauravmanandhar@hotmail.com has exceeded storage limit. I get this error"The user sauravmanandhar@hotmail.com is over his storage limit. The mail has not been sent to the receipient". Delete some of the junk, old mail. I don't know how much email storage space does hotmail give, If it's really low, I'd rather have a yahoo.

I might have confused you. My laptop has the Swar System and I'm using it right now. But it does not have the executable file, SetUp.exe to install on to your computer. It's on a CD at my apartment. But like most of the VSTi, inorder to operate inside of a sequencer like FL, you basically need the dll file only. So I was trying to give it a shot.

I just sent you the dll file for the Swar System on the yahoo mail. Follow the instruction, which is pretty simple. See if it helps. If not I'd recommend using the Taalmala using the demo version. The website is:
