I was looking for low income insurance in Texas. I have been in USA for about 3-4 months through DV lottery . Is there any medical insurance for Dv winners and low income since I didn’t work last year?

Shradha Shrestha, I am not sure if there are other better options for Texas residents. However, you can try HealthCare.gov to apply for health insurance. You may qualify for subsidy based on your income. Make sure you choose to receive financial assistance while filling out the application. Good luck and let me know if you have any questions. You might not wanna get government subsidies given the political circumstances these days. Remember - Public Charge rule might disqualify your spouse/family should you sponsor them in the future. Better, look for employers who offer low cost Health insurance. Good luck!
