Hi everyone, I am trying to figure things out regarding my job. I need to find a job because my OPT has already started but no luck so far. I thought of going through a consultancy but it didn't work out before, hardly any interviews as a java developer. Therefore, I am worried because next year, I need to join another master's program or PhD or move to Canada. I have some loans to pay off. I have been paying a lot of interests and don't want to pile up more loans. Please read the whole thing, this is really important and frustrating, but I am trying to resolve as much as I can and I couldn't think of anything else but Sajha. 1) Should I join another Master's Program where they allow to have CPT? Please share me their names. Or easy to get in or cheap school? 2) Any tips on how to apply jobs by myself online and any more effective ways? 3) Or should I start applying to Canada? If you guys know how much it costs and what are procedures, please let me know or any information about applying to Canada (I want to know your experience or knowledge) 4) Or should I get a PhD, any school recommendation, easy to get admission or high chance of getting scholarships or any information their names ? 5) Though I didn't have any loan for my Bachelor's, Master's degree changed that. Is there any way to pay it through a third party (I had heard about that, not sure anything like that exists)? And what are the negative sides of doing that? 6) I am thinking to GRE or GMAT, are the official books enough to prep or any tips ? Please please share your experience, knowledge or advice. Thank you!

If you are having hard time finding job as Java Developer, try automation testing job or other IT related jobs where you have some skills. You get 90 days of unemployment in opt and 60 days in Stem. For now use your consultancy name and address before 90 days of unemployment, so your opt does not get invalid. And then you will have plenty of time to find jobs. Once you have job you can use that to file your Stem opt.

Bro about Canada, you won't be able to get a FSW Express Entry PR based on what you have mentioned. The points won't be enough without a without work experience. Going in there as a student right now won't be a right decision imo. Try other consultancies, meanwhile don't keep yourself idle learn new skills.

Hey guys, thank you for your suggestions. About Canada, I don't much about FSW Express Entry PR. I thought having a master's degree would help. I did work using TPS but not what I want to do now, it was less than a year. Am I not eligible with my degrees to apply ?

@advice7 bro: You might be eligible. Check out the following websites and check how much points you can get. So this is how it works. 1)First check if you get at least 67 points in the FSW Score, if score is at least 67 you are qualified to apply for Express Entry, use below link: https://www.canada.ca/en/immigration-refugees-citizenship/services/immigrate-canada/express-entry/eligibility/federal-skilled-workers/six-selection-factors-federal-skilled-workers.html 2)Then use CRS calculator below to estimate the points you are likely to get. Now the points required to get Invitation to apply keeps on changing per draws but based on 2018, you must have at least 440, the higher the better. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp Don't get too stressed bro things will work out. I believe i had even more worse situation than you, i had a load of $60K+ after my bachelors. I had some difficulty finding job after graduation, but after 5 months i got a really nice job through consultancy, and now i have paid off almost all of my loan. I am also currently looking to apply for Canada, no freedom whatsoever in USA, your life is controlled by this status mess and getting companies/consultancies to apply for GC is so difficult these days, and that also after you get lottery picked for H1B. In my opinion, either join a PHD program bro or move to Canada, if you are looking for peace of mind. If money is your priority, stay in USA find work through consultancy. Cheers.
