Hi Sathiharu,
I am applying for I-485 I asked Birth Certificate (BC) from Nepal but VDC Secretary gave in a general paper in VDC letter pad writing (TO Whom it my concern bla bla........including my parents name and my date of birth as a premenant resisent of ...( VDC name)of Nepal.

But some of my friends told me that such a letter seems fake coz most of Nepalease people use the standard format (anusuchi 2 sth like) with nepali font and notarized by notary club. So if I submit letter pad version that too in all english USCIS officer might think is not authentic . So he/she knows what the format of Nepal BC is. I am kind of in confusion. Does any one has used letter pad BC for I-1485? Please share your ideas or experience.

Just translate it to English and Notarize it and submit. It works perfectly. Don't listen to 100 people they all have different view.

I had mine in similar format as yours, the only difference was, the letter head was both in English and Nepali.
For instance, गाउँ बिकास समितिको कार्यालय
Office of the Village Development Committee.
So, as long as the letter head is both in English and Nepali, you should be fine.
P.S. My I-485 got approved last month.

As Madani says , nowadays most of the VDC letterpad has english and nepali so you should be fine; i believe yours too. Just listen to experienced Madani. Good luck.

I think RFE is random. I submitted similar type and did not get RFE.
