Hello fellow sajhaities,

My OPT is expiring soon and my company is not applying for my H1-B. However, my green card is in process through my spouse. So, in the meantime, I would like to continue to work with my current company (non-IT).

Could you please advise of any colleges/universities in Arizona/California that offer CPT on the 1st day of school?

Thanks in advance

Thanks for the reply guys. Is there any way to find H1B sponsoring companies in IT right now? I have never worked in IT so have no clue about it. Will IT consulting sponsor H1B to meet April 1st?

Thanks in advance

Quick Info:

1. American college of commerce and Technology, VA - First day CPT (9 credit - $3600, includes CPT and CPT is valid for two trimester - 6 months)
2. ITU, San Jose , CA (itu.edu) - $500 per credit. (9 credit - 4500 includes CPT and CPT will be counted toward your graduation. They treat CPT as a course and thus CPT is valid for that semester only)
3. Sullivan University, KY
4. Goldey Beacom, DE - heard this college also issue CPT
5. Harrishburgh university of science and technlogoy, PA

Good luck.

ITU is a decent school and accredited by the same organization as the Standford is. The cost can be expensive depending upon where you live.

I had a couple of friends go to that university and thought the courses were good/ modern and the professor were really smart (mostly working around sillicon valley industries)

Guys, please do NOT go to cheap CPT universities. It will cause lots of trouble when you apply for green card. Invest in a good quality education at accredited public universities, even if you have to take a personal loan of 20-40k.
