DO I have to buy a diffent adopter to charge my laptop in DOHA airport  or in Nepal?

 yes yo do. also make sure your laptop charger says 110-240.

 if you have 8 hour delay they take you in a hotel. i didn't know that but when I used the service, it was awesome! Next morning you wake up and fly to KTM and reach there around 11 am..fresh like a dog right after taking shower!

 what is the process of booking the hotel? do they just take you after the flight or how does it work? any meal included while staying at the hotel?

do they do this only in Doha or any other city where the transit is more than 8 hours?

 check with your Travel agent. My travel agent never told me that. Another Nepali I met in the plane had been using the service. You get 48 hour transit visa. car waiting outside..drive around the beautiful city..takes you to a very nice hotel..everything included..you can mastrubate and sleep!

I realize that the ticket we buy from the advertiser here in Sajha may not be a good idea.

I bought ticket one of the advertisers: It cost me almost the same as the price I was quoted on-line.  The best part is you can see the flight schedule and can choose that you like, you may have to pay little more dollars. Now I wanted to change the schedule, got a quote of 300-400 dolars. 

If you buy online , you have options to choose from and pay accordingly. 

From now I will check online first. I was  suggested that Sunday is the day you have to do travel shopping. 

My sister is traveling and she has 14 hrs transit, we bought a ticket from Qatar airlines website. How should we request a hotel? There was another flight to Nepal with just 5 hrs of gap in between, but we chose the one with long transit to save some dollars. Can we still request a hotel room? Any input will be appreciated.

 call their reservation office here in the US and ask them.

 Ramkumari- Please do share your experience calling them. When I was staying at the hotel, I didn't know that I had paid for such facility until I used it. When I checked in the hotel and provided my Passport to the hotel staff and my tickets and she confirmed that I was supposed to be staying at the hotel, I can also assume that I was not only lucky but I had paid for such service. What if I was not invited?What if I was just let  go by the customs officer at the airport for whatever his mood was? I'd probably end up spending the night in the same hotel, paying. But just saying.

 But you can call and find out what is included in your ticket.  And if whoever shares their experience will benefit others! Happy Weekend!

For some reason, every person I've dealt with personally..and especialy in gathering..why we feel so happy to discuss our international air flight experience? I don't know. We don't talk about Greyhould experience. Silly.

we called Qatar airways, and they said my sis is not qualified for a free hotel in doha transit because there is another flight with less than 6 hours transit,  which she could have taken by paing more money. They asked us to book a room online, and apply for transit visa.
