Friends,

I've been able to take few days from work and headed to Nepal for couple weeks. I'm thinking of taking a hike to Ghandruk from Pokhara or nearby while in Nepal. Since Pokhara is relatively close, and the trek is about a half-day each way, that should be doable.. Has anyone done Pokhara/Nayapul - Ghandruk trek recently? Would this time of the year even be the right time to explore those locations? Also, while I'm at it, I'd really want to try out paragliding at Sarangkot. Anyone has stories to share?

Thanks

Ok here is my input for ya. I did ghandruk trip in around November, and it was pretty ok. I think it should be ok if you do ghandruk trip after month or so. It takes around 5 6 hours to go and same or less to come down, so if you take 2 days trip into account it should be fine for ya. As for paragliding, I have not done myself yet, but from what I have heard from the friends who have done it, it is ok for first 5 mins but it gets boring after that. They normally have half hour paragliding there. so take this into account.
Cheers for your trip and paragliding. hope u enjoy it both.
