This real story starts at 2048 B.S. when Nepali Congress was ruling Nepal with their majority in Nepal parliament and Nepal Rastriya Sabha. Almost 2/3rd seats were won by Nepali Congress party in the election which was held recently.

Mr. Girija Prasad Koirala in his state visit to India signed a treaty with India about couple of rivers of Nepal without the acknowledge of Nepal's other political party, Nepali Press, Nepali Public as well King Birendra. He gave full rights to India to use the water of those river. If some Nepali people in the border would use couple of hundred gallon water to irrigate their fields, it would be criminal act for Indian Government and Nepalese current government silently supported that.

Because of the corrupt Leader in Nepali Congress, Nepal couldnot benefit from those river. India does not pays a penny as a tax or royalty for using Nepalese rivers. Because they paid large chunk of money to Girija and his friends in Nepali congress to make a deal or in another word to buy these rivers.

forgive me if I am being an idiot.. but how do you sell rivers?? if the river is flowing out from the territory of Nepal to India, it for them to do as they please in their territory, isn't it? or does selling mean that even when the river is in Nepal we are not supposed to touch it/ enlighten me please.

Ya Rivers has been literally sold to India by the Nepalese Government leaded by Nepali Congress and Girija Prasad Koirala. This is how I have came to conclusion that Rivers has been sold.
--- Nepalese farmers cannot irrigate their field within 50 miles of the border from Mahakhali river water.
--- In Nepalese side of the land, all the field are dry and there are no agricultural products planted there because they dont have water. But in the other side of Mahakhali river in Indian side, Indian farmers make good money selling agricultural products to Nepalese people. Nepalese farmers have to cross bridge, go to Indian side and buy vegetables there.
---- There are several incidence where Nepalese farmers were shot by indian border troops just because theyy tried to irrigate their fields from the Nepal's river.Beleieve me.Its true.
--- In the other side of Tanakpur, 1000's of acres of land are planted with crops and veegtables by Indian Farmes using Nepalese rivers to irrigate them.
-- And In Nepalese side of Tanakpur, 1000's of acres of land are dry. Because there is no water.
-- In 1995, small Nepalese village in the border wanted to open a small hydroelectricity to produce electricity for 150 house use waters from Mahakhali River. But Indian official didnt liked that idea. Indian police came to that village and beat the villagers and threaten them. Nepalese officials were just watching!!!!!!!!!!!

Now frens, tell me.....Is this fair. Nepalese people cant use waters from their river which flows from Nepal's side???????And its illegal too......!!!!!!!!Can you all beleive this!!!!!
