हिजोका गोविन्दराज, खुमबहादुर तथा विजय गच्छेदारहरुको हैसियत के थियो आज कुन अवस्थामा छ त्यो उनीहरुलाई नजिकबाट चिन्नेहरुले मात्र हैन टाडाबाट चिन्नेहरुले पनि राम्रोसंग जान्दछन् । त्यस्ता व्यक्तिहरुले कमाएको धनलाई सेतो धन बनाउने काम गिरिजा मण्डलीले नै गरेका हुन् भन्दा कुनै फरक पर्दैन ।

नेपाली कांग्रेस यस्तो राजनीतिक दल हो जहां भ्रष्टचारीहरुको सम्मान हुन्छ । तर त्यो पार्टर्ीी रहेका सच्चा राजनीतिककर्मीहरुलाई पार्टर्ीीध्यक्ष स्वय्मले अपमान गर्ने गरेका छन् । त्यसको ज्वलन्त उदाहरण गिरिजाप्रसाद कोइरालले नाती कार्यकर्ता गगन थापालाई दरवारको एजेन्ट देख्नु अनि लोकतन्त्रको वकालत गर्दै हिडेका नरहरि आचार्यमाथि लान्छना लगाएको धेरै भएको छैन । तिनै महान नेताले आखिर लोकतन्त्रका लागि जनमत सृजना गर्दै गाउं गाउं हिडेका आफ्ना कार्यकर्ताहरुलाई आफ्नो विरोधी देख्नु कुन महानता हो ? मुलुकबासीहरु पर्ूण्ा राजतन्त्रको विरोधमा उत्रिरहंदा पनि राजतन्त्रको सिनो अझै पनि गिरिजाप्रसादले बोकेरै हिड्ने प्रयत्न गरिरहेका छन् । उनी राजतन्त्रका बारेमा स्पष्ट हुन नसक्नु भनेकै उनलाई सेरोमोनियल राजतन्त्रको धङधगींले छाडेको छैन ।

नारायणहिटी दरवार हत्या काण्डको ग्रयाण्ड डिजाइनको पोल खोल्छु भन्दै दरवारलाई तर्सर्ााे तिनै गिरिजाप्रसाद कोइराला हुन् जसले समय समयमा दरवारभक्तिका गीत गाउंदै आएका छन् ।

अहिले पनि माओवादी र अन्य आन्दोलनकारी राजनीतिक दलहरुले गिरिजाप्रसाद कोइरालालाई आम नेपालीको नेतृत्व गरेर सरकार चलाउने जिम्मा दिएका हुन न कि एउटा पार्टर्ीीे सभापतिका हैसियतले । तर उनले ती कुराहरुलाई सत्तामा पुगेपछि विर्सिएर आफू कांग्रेस दलकै हैसियतले प्रधानमन्त्री बनाइएको भन्ने भानमा उनी जे जस्ता करतुत पनि गर्न पछि परेका छैनन् ।

मुलुकबासीले अझै पनि राजनेतामा हुनुपर्ने गुण कुनै नेतामा पाउन नसकेका कारण देशबासीले अझै कति कष्ट सहनुपर्ने हो हर्ेन बांकी छ । कोही नेपाली कांग्रेसका मात्र नेता कोही एमालेका मात्र नेता कोही माओवादीका मात्र नेता अहिलेसम्म देखा परेका छन् तर यिनीहरु सबैभन्दा माथि त्याग तपस्या र बलिदानका लागि तत्पर हुने कुनै पनि नेता जन्मनु नसक्नु हाम्रा लागि बिडम्वना बन्न पुगेको छ ।
जुनसुकै पार्टर्ीीे नेता भएपनि त्यसलाई आम जनताले मानेपछि उसले आम नेपाली जनताको भावनालाई बुझ्न सक्नर्ुपर्छ त्यो बुझ्न गिरिजाप्रसाद कोइरालाले सकेनन् । उनी तिनै आहुरे बाहुरेका लागि मात्र महान् बने । इतिहास साक्षी छ । गिरिजाप्रसाद कोइरालाले २०४६ सालपछि देशमा सत्ताको बागडोर आफ्नो हातमा आएपछि आफ्ना कुरा नमान्नेहरुलाई पार्टर्ीीटै कसरी लात हाने त्यो सायद बृद्ध कृष्णप्रसाद भट्टर्राईले आफ्नो मृत्य अघि पीडा पोख्ने छन् ।

कांग्रेस यस्तो पार्टर्ीीनेको छ अब त्यहां फेरी बेइमानी र धर्ुतहरुको बोलबाला बढ्ने छ । खुमबहादुर र गोविन्दराजहरुलाई मन्त्रि बनाइने छ । त्यही बनाउने शुरसारमा उनीहरुलाई सफाइ दिइएको पक्का छ । यस्ता भ्रष्टहरुको भिडतन्त्रलाई नियन्त्रण गर्न चाहेर पनि कसैले सक्दैन । यसैले जसले आफ्नो अगाडि भीड मात्र देख्दछ त्यो भीडभित्रको कुतत्वलाई समाल्न सक्दैन भने त्यो नेताले मुलुक हांक्न सक्दैन र त्यस्तो नेताले आफूलाई अप्रिmकाको नेल्सन मण्डेला वा वर्माकी आङसाङसूकी जस्तो ठान्दै हिड्न पनि मिल्दैन ।

त्यतिमात्र हैन सरकारी सुविधामा कुनै बञ्चित नहुंदै पनि प्रधानमन्त्री जस्तो पदमा रहेको व्यक्ति सानातिना कुरामा समेत लोभ लालचमा फस्छ भने त्यस्ता व्यक्तिबाट आम नेपालीले के आशा राख्ने ? अब प्रश्न आउंछ नेताहरु पारदर्शी हुने कि नहुने अनि आफूलाई जनताका अगाडि सुधार्ने कि नसुधार्ने ? आन्दोलन गर्ने भनेको खाली आफू सुविधा सम्पन्न हुनकै लागि मात्र हो भन्ने बुझ्ने आम नागरिकहरुले - यो कस्तो सन्देश दिन खोजिरहेका छन् हाम्रा नेताहरु ?

अब रह्यो, निश्चित उद्देश्य पूरा गर्नका लागि वा मुलुकमा पर्ूण्ा रुपेण लोकतान्त्रिक गणतन्त्रको स्थापनाका लागि एक भएर संविधान सभाको निर्वाचन गराउने र देशभित्र नियमकानुनको दायरालाई मजबुत बनाउन सक्ने हो भने आम नेपालीहरुलाई दलहरु जतिसुकै भए पनि कुनै फरक पर्दैन किनकी नियम र कानुनको बर्खिलापमा कोही पनि जान नसक्ने हो भने त्यो मुलुकले आफ्नो मुहार फर्ेन कुनै सताब्दी कर्ुर्नु पर्दैन ।

यर्सथ हिजोका तीता मिठा सबै कुराहरु बिर्सर्ेेराजतन्त्रको अन्त्यका लागि आम आन्दोलनकर्मी राजनीतिक दलहरु एक भएर २ सय ३७ वर्षेखि आफ्नो रजाईं गर्दै आएको राजतन्त्रलाई निर्मूल नपारेसम्म हामी नेपालीहरु रैतिबाट नागरिक कुनै हालतमा पनि बन्न सक्ने छैनौ यो कुराको सबै राजनीतिककर्मीहरु तथा राजनीत्रि्रति रुची राख्नेहरुमा चेतना आउनु जरुरी छ ।

From what I hear, these two alleged corrupt politicians evaded prosecution on technicality. Apparently the government, intentionally or non-intentionally, bungled the case. Hence, now they are free men.
