Interaction with Gagan Thapa

Gagan Thapa is a former General Secretary of Nepal Student Union, student wing of Nepali Congress -- the largest political party in Nepal. He is undoubtedly the most prominent student leader who has become one of the leading figures in the current struggle for democracy in Nepal. He was jailed numerous times after the February 1, 2005 royal takeover on charges of ?sedition against the state? for his outspoken stance against King Gyanendra?s regime. Amnesty International had declared him a ?prisoner of conscience,? since he had been detained despite his peaceful and legitimate activities in support of democracy and human rights in Nepal. His release was procured on each occasion only under tremendous pressure from various human rights organizations and international governments.

*Mr. Thapa?s presentation will be in Nepali. Written English transcripts of his major points will be available for non-Nepali audience.
** Q & A session will be held in English, with a translation help from the moderator if needed.

By the way Nepada or anyone who can answer, who is funding GaganThapa, where does all the money come from? Is that his own?

Okies with biasness and non biasness, I want to discuss somethings here on with fellow sajhaites...
During his years as president of FSU in Tri Chandra college, it was heard that he misused the FSU funds for his own campaigns. I have also heard that he was most helpful to students in College, But being helpful doesn't mean that he can use the fund directed for students. and I know noone can guarantee that he will not be corrupt after he gets into power, but creating a threat against anything near corruption may help, doesn't it???...Just add your two cents...I will add more later on

and if i seemed like i was 'ignoring' forgive me ;o) hehe..well basically was about to type..but ended up typing in another discussion board :o| and its about marks...so yap got a bit lost in that discussion board ;oP...and well...wat can i say?when a spirit dampens more...it feels fresher later on ;o)...on needs to feel damp before one can appreciate the warmth hoina?so if the intensity of dampness increases..just might mean so will the intensity of warmthness...well in terms of feelns anyways ;oP...and thats wat i like to think anyways ;oP..i know others dun have the same opinion..and well just their loss re kya ;oP...

and livelier i could not feel :o| dun ask me why :o| basically just got off the fone with one me mate ;o)...frens that have grown with u..talkin with them..does make one feel better i guess ..and guess wat?not one?not 2...but three close frens called today ;o)...and of cos before i got me arse into this chair..met 2 frens in the library and ending up sharing some lame jokes..so good way to start me day(night ;o)..)..if not guess the stress of the same old exams loomin nearer and other datelines to meet..and seeing and feeln negativness which is all around us...well...ok i better shut up ;oP...

and seriously...if he was invited by the US...well when did US help another nation..or when did another nation helped another if there wasnt even a tiny benefit for them?and speakin for me..only me hai ;o).....i havent even seen his arse to begin with and to put me lips on his arse doesnt sound tempting..if he tried to tempt me thats another thing tho...lets see how good is his powers of tempting ;oP...and well..i only seen one documentary of nepal..and he was in it...seeing nepal in that state was pretty scary :oS..guess one does get more scared when one isnt there..but if one is there..they get used to it :o)....

Hmmm and people wonder why some dont like him. Damn, why cant people be little more honest, i know doing politics with 100%honestly never works but still not in these small things pleaseeeeee.....

Well talking about the FSU thing, I am also curious too...Maybe someone around here will clarify on this matter...But transparancy is vital for any kind of democracy to sustain!!! Isn't it??
