Something you miss!! This thread is for something you miss!! Don’t mention someone you miss like oh my I miss my ex, she/he left me all alone or something. Cause you know we really don’t care about it!! Mention some thing and I mean thing you miss and don’t mention something that’s obvious or that everyone here could miss!! It has to be something that you and only you could miss because of the details that’s involved in it!! :) okay?? :) For example you can’t say oh I miss my mom’s cooking back home cause you I bet ya a lot of people living aboard miss that!! But you could say that I miss my mom’s tomato acchar cause she used to a little bit of fish soup in it!! :P does anyone even do that?? Well I hope you got the point ke!! :) And also it could be like a brief moment in your life that something happened!! Or something that could never happen again but you miss it a lot!! PS: I really want the silent readers in sajha to mention something, cause you know we all wanna know who you are!! :P :P So here’s something I miss: Okay last night I was thinking about what to have for dinner! And then I thought that I should boil noodles but then I realized that we were out of wai wai ke!! So, I was like hmm… you know what I miss I miss that day when I was outside my house in Nepal eating noodles and it was like those long long noodles ke!! And as I thought about it I think it was the feeling I got at that time that I missed more than the noodles cause you know it’s not like I’ve been deprived of noodles or anything. Haha!! The smell was like hmm…of cow’s like smell and it was like the feeling I got as I sat in front of my door around 5pm trying to scoop the long long noodles into my mouth ke!! :) Too bad I’ll never have that time ever again!! :( But I’ll always miss it and the memory will always be with me!! :) Now your turn!! :)

AAWwww I am feeling nostalgic after reading this thread. I miss pani puri (dhoti ko fori hath le banayeko), titaura, chat pate...all the junk food. What I miss the most is my family and my friends. I also miss having lots and lots of free time.

Fuchhu, heres the recipe. The toughest job is to prepare puri . Ingredients: To make puri: 1 cup Semolina (Rava / Suji) 3 tblsp Fine Wheat Flour (Maida) 1/4 tsp Baking Soda Oil to deep fry To make pani: 1/2 cup Tamarind (Imli) Pulp 2 cups Water 2 tblsp roasted Cumin Seed (Jeera) Powder 2 tblsp un-roasted Cumin Seed (Jeera) Coriander Leaves 3 Green Chilly (Hari Mirch) 2 tblsp Mint Leaves (Pudina Leaves) Chutney 1 tblsp Black Salt (kala namak ) 2 tblsp Jaggary (Gur) How to make pani puri: To make pani: Measure all ingredients. Adjust spices and tangyness to taste. Strain through a wire strainer to remove any rough bits. To make puri: Mix sooji, maida, baking soda, salt and enough water to knead a soft dough. Stand covered with wet cloth for 15-20 minutes. Make small sized balls. With the help of some dry maida or sooji, roll into thin rounds. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry puris till very light brown and crisp. Drain in a paper towel for a while to dry out the oil. Store in an airtight container when cool. Courtesy: khanakhazana.com Enjoy! Bornfree,Golgappe vaneko ke. Damn tasty!
