KB सल्लाह को लागि धन्यवाद । मेरो यो धागो बनाउनुमा कसैप्रती रिस-राग नभै भबिस्यमा बरु एस्तो घटना नदोहोरियोस भनेर खबर्दरी गर्ने मात्रै मनासय थियो । मैले जे देखे तेइ नै भनेको हो । एदी मलाई यस्तो कन्सर्ट आयोजना गर्न दिएको भये, म पुरा विश्वस्थ छु,यो भन्दा पतुर हुन्थ्यो । शायद १९७४ ए डी लाई नेपालमै visa दिदैन थ्यो होला ओर्गनाइजरमा मेरो नाम देखेर । म मा तेती गर्ने आट पनि छैन साचै भन्ने हो भने । तर  एदी कसैले  आटेर देशको सबै भन्दा चर्चित ब्यान्डलाई 27 घण्टा उडाएर कन्सर्ट गर्छ भने  तेस्बाट सुबेक्छुकहरुले अली बदी नै अपेछ्या  गर्नुमा म कुनै खोट चै देख्दिन । स्रोत र साधन को कमी ले गर्दा एस्तो भएको हो भनेर भन्ने बाटो पनि छैन यहाँ । हामीले डलरनै तिरेर कन्सर्ट हेर्न गाको थेम । आचिजस्तो ब्ल्याक्क लेबेललाई प्रती शट $७ तिरेर नि मान्छेहरुले खाकै थे । खै, म त यो सबै कान्डमा आयोजकहरुको लपर्बही बाहेक अरु केइ देख्दिन ।  अनी  मेलिना तिमी खुबै प्रोटेक्टिभ बहिनी रइछौ । तिम्रा दाइहरु भाग्यमानी हुन ।

Why aren't these organizers symply admiting that they picked a wrong venue for 1974 AD and it was disrespectful to the band and its fans, Instead of simple apology they trying to come up with a justification for their poor business mentality. they resort to calling others names, threatning with different IDs.

 This is why I never go to any Nepali functions!

On a side note, there's absolutely no WAY Melina wasn't a part of the organizing team. 

In any case, we tend to compare ourselves with Americans/Westerners and that's when we see our shortcomings. You can't expect a world-class orgazation by Nepalese in Nepal, let alone amateurs in Dallas. 

I still don't see how $40 bucks was that big of a sum for a concert to go and see the best Nepali rock band perform live. That, the event was organized in a 'shady' venue, is a totally different matter though and perhaps, all the lambasting and criticism that's being thrown at the organizers is probably justified. But then again, I wasn't there.

 GT bro, I wasn't literally stressing on my absence during the event. Why so serious? I was merely playing devil's advocate. This thread epitomizes the common characteristic that binds us all together - that of leg pulling. Whilst I can see some knobheads like fat beast talking out of their asses, as they normally do, it was also a tad funny to see someone from the organizing team registering a new nickname and trying to defend the organizers.

यदी कार्यक्रमका आयोजकहरु बुद्दिमान हुन् भने यसलाई तिमीले भने जस्तै प्रतिकार गर्नुको सट्टा स्वस्थ्य सुझावको रुपमा लिएको बेस हुन्थ्यो ।

र म तिम्रो प्रतिकृया पढेर सिरियस भएको थिइन, मज्जाले हाँसिरहेको थिए.. शायद तिमीले मैले लेखेको पहिलो वाक्य देखेन होला ....
