- Pour mixture into the 43 litre container!!that would make 30 litre oil and 13 litre water!!
- Now Take 11 litre container and pour the water remaining in the first container i.e. 60 litre container into it and pour the rest of water into another 7 litre container!!Now there will be 6 litre water in 7 litre container!!
- Take the water in 11 litre and 43 litre containers and pour them into 60 litre container!! That makes 24 litres of water and 30 litres of oil!!
- Now pour water in 6 litre container into the 43 litre container!!
-and pour the water in 60 litre container from bottom into 7 litre container!! Now remainig mixture is 30 litre oil and 17 litre water!!
- Pour the 7 litre water into 43 litre container and take out 11 litre water into 11 litre container from it!!
- Put 11 litre in 60 litre container!! That makes it 30 litre of oil and 28 litre of water!!
-- Now as u have 7 litre container, u can easily separate 28 litre water from that mixture!!
-- Voila the problem is solved!!

I don't think you can make a hole or something on the bottom of the container! The question doesn't say that there is a tap, either.

How? Again, use the "hole" to pour the water into the container?

If there is a tap on the bottom, then, your seperating water from the oil is convincing; but I think it has to be done assuming that there is no tap or a hole.

I am going to give this a try. It may be only tomorrow or sometimg tonight, though. Lotsa assignments...

TRansfer oil from surface to 43 liter container two times and then using 7 liter container transfer oil from 43 L container to former one two times and then again transfer oil from surface of 60 L container using 11L container to 43 L container two times. In thiss way u have 30 L oil in 43 L container....
