From thread to thread, most of the comments on this forum are racially abusive to all the madheshis. I have got few questions for all those pahadi racist:
1. Why do pahadi people hate madheshis in general?

2. Why do you guys in this forum hate madheshis? Come on guys grow up, most of you all are living abroad, educated, civilized, you name it. It wouldn't hurt me if some guy from remote area in Nepal who is uneducated, doesn't know the madheshis are part of Nepalese society would be racist to me. But you guys how can you be racist to madheshis, seriously shame on you! I know all of you don't think like that but most of you pahadis do!

3. Why can't you guys see there is a fine line between Indians and madheshis?

4. Why do you guys hate Paramendra? Just because he's fighting for rights of innocent madheshis in Nepal who have been victims of the tyrrants in Nepalese society since ages. Paramendra has got a long way to go, thumbs up to him.

5. Would you want a Madheshland in Nepal? Imagine you have to get visa to go to Janakpur, Mahendranagar or Bhairahawa? Seriously, if you pahadi guys continue to treat madheshis in the same way there would come a day with "Madheshland" in existence. But personally I don't want a Madheshland, I just want a cohesive and progressive society in Nepal where all the ethnic people in Nepal work for common goal, that is nation's development!

paramendra_rules: i am reading these kinds of posts with great interest for a long time and alaways hesiteated to put my 2 cent worth. i was wondering what is the remedy for mdhesi problems? Racism is worldwide problem. your statement "We all will see, what's gonna happen in Nepal in the coming years" sounds ominous! Pahadis are discriminated in India ..O, Gorkhe! u know that! We are all discriminated in the US- we all know that! Biharis are discriminated in Punjab, south India -- u should know that! So what is the solution of this problem? what will make Madhesis happy? There is racism among Pahadis -- bahuns feel superior to chetris who feel superior to newars and so on .. same thing among madhesis -- Jha superior to yadavs who are superior to mandals and so on..
Thakurs are killing low castes in Bihar and vice vesra.. the list goes on .. so WHAT IS YOUR SOLUTION?

And you Pahadis! I have message for you all. Madhesis are no less Nepalese than you guys! New generation of Madhesis speak fluent Nepalese (including Pramendra), do not feel embarassed wearing dhaka topi with daura-suruwal, and they all feel proud to be called Nepalese! so do not treat madhesis like 2nd class citizens (i think that is what majority of us feel in nepal .. treated like 2nd class citizens).

paramendra_rules & madhesi, you donot need to beg and show sympathy, and others donot need sympathy either. Be bold. Madhesi has should to shoulder relationship with any others.

Its only a function of time, lets see what change is in line in madhesi demography. Wait and watch. But change is inevitable, good or bad. Either there will be change of attitude or change of altitude.

I started this thread not to get empathy or console but to share what I have been through and the cruel reality in Nepal, by the way what I have understood about Sajha is you are allowed to express your feelings and thoughts. If I have hurt anybody's sentiment then I am sorry. I'm as proud Nepali as any of you guys but still I always get provoked when I think about poor madheshis in Nepal, seriously it's not their fault if they can't get better work and life in Nepal including education ,maybe lack of education could be one of the reasons they can't speak that good Nepali, being a madheshi I know really really well how madheshis are desperate to speak Nepali, but they are so underprivileged that they can't afford to send their kids to school.

i do not understand why people use word "dhoti" to identify madhesis. thee are several bahuns, newars, chetris living deep in the madhes who wear dhoti! Funny thing is all hindu gods, Rama, Krishnas, Vishnu, Bramha, etc ,.. all are shown wearing dhoti.. imagin how these gods look in daura, suruwal, and dhaka topi!

panditraj: history says bahun/chetris fled to Nepal from India during Mughals oppression to Hindus in India. Majoriy of madhesis were already in madhes! should we chase out bahuns/chetris back to india?

Lets divide nepal into pre prithivi state. give autonmly to eastern part of nepal where ethnic kirats live, lets seperate ktm valley and give autonomy to newars, let tarai be seperated as well and ofcourse lets make a new country in the backward region of far western nepal....
