So you are one of the unsung heros who faught in forefront to bring in alternative (literally) music in our rich collection of nepali songs. Politics of pakistani serials would pass right above the head in those days. I could feel beats by then. Chords, rythm, melody and lyrics; I am deaf and dumb to them still now. Yes, for the sake of that very beat, I too rebelled against grown ups ( Pity on them! They think they are strong).

Mr. Depp in Edward Scissorhands resembles Frankestein in appearance, but had heart of human. That movie is a must watch if you happen to like Mr. Depp, and even for neutrals, it indeed is good watch. Something different! do go for it. I promise you would not regret.

Oh damn, if I'm not mistaken, Bappi Lahiri did give music in Disco Dancer, a Mithun starrer. Damn, my humble apologies to Mr. Bappi Da. :). "I'm a disco dancer, ta ta ra ra raa, jindagi mera ganaaaa mein kisi ka deewanaaa... ho jhumo, ho nacho awo mere saath nacho gawoo" Remember? Hahahahaha

Man Mithun is god, literally. I LOVED his movies and I still LOVE his movies. He is a legend. His movies had fight, dance, romance, dogs, horses and what not. He could climb a mountain in about 3 seconds and beat about 50 (give or take a dozen) goons shouting "Yaaaayieee" ;). My dad used to play that disco dance music and me and my brother used to dance on the bed. Hahahaha! My brother was a great dancer while I had two left feet. Oh well! :(

Tyo pakistani TV serial ra Sunday pop ko way ma, I eventually did loose (by choice ). Euta TV serial ma yesto hot actor thiyo, tyei herna nai I used to wait the entire week. Tyespachie tyo junoon ko singer bhayera TV serial aayo - hmmm - i used to love the drama in those. So even till now, when it comes to nepali songs - i'm still stuck in the past....but i love what i listen to :) (ali boring manchhey parein k garnu). Latest suneko bhanya 1974 AD hola lah !!

Anyways, about Mithun, man, I loved him as an actor 20 years ago, and I love him today. Common, it's about time we shall educate people, especially these new hybrids who croon John and Hritik; what would they know? If only they lived and breathed in the era of Disco dancer, Kasam paida karne wale ki, (what was that movie, where he is grand master G9?), Pyar jhukta nahin and the list goes on and on. Can these John and Co. clim the titanic walls/ cliffs like a spiderman? Wait, I meant without the web; all natural?

And have you ever noticed how no bullets touches mithun although there are about 20-30 people shooting him from every angle? Imagine if he was to be in our army? He could have hatched a plan "so obvious" and still would have caught Prachande and Baburame. The world needs Mithun. He is sacrosanct, else how would you explain his movie being as horrible yet exceptionally profitable for the budget? hahaha;)

Hati mera sathi was Rajesh bappe. And about the song, it's "Krishna pyar sikha ja tu." :) Purano geet haru ko ta alik aucha, but I do not know much about these new songs, especially from past 7-8 years. Anyways, I have never been the kind to spend my bucks on those. Never bought a single cassette/cd engendered from neighboring nation, except for gazals, especially Jagjit singh and maybe one of Kishor Da. :) That too 8-9 years ago.

Okay, apologies to Mithun, the lord. Remember, one is never too old to worship Mithun. If you really think about it, the world needs Mithun everywhere. And if only Rajni (kant)bhai would make a special appearance, all the bad guys in the world would have no place to hide.

Not to forget how much we would save on ammunition. Remember shooting a gun to the knife and the bullet breaking in to two pieces killing two villains. Height of creativity. Beat that! There has not been classier scene in the entire world in the action genre. Oh lord Mithun, I take you as my savior. Save me from the world, but first save me from my own.;)
