Now some comparision from CIA website
population below poverty
India--------29.8
Nepal------25.2
Life expectency
India--67.4
Nepal---66.51
Death rate
India---7.43 deaths/1,000 population (July 2012 est.)
Nepal--6.75
Maternal mortality rate
India--200 deaths/1,00,000 live birth
Nepal--170 deaths/1,00,000
Birth rate
India----20.6 birth/1000 population
Nepal--21.85
Underwight childern (under the age of 5)
India--43.50
Nepal--29.10
I know Indians has progressed a lot but the progress is not reflected in the quality of life of its people as a whole , so why become Indian trritory? I dont see any logic

Do remember that indian population is almost 1.3 billion so there is no comparison with Nepal at just 2-3 crores. They have done leaps and bounds better if you consider their population. Being part of India as a state is not being India itself as each state have their own resources and strategies.
A state with less than 3 crore population would fare much better than other states. Nepal as a state would just need the money that India will have to offer and could possibly even be lending money to other states in 20 years. There is a huge potential in Nepal but we need heaps and heaps of investment and also being landlocked has put us at a great disadvantage.
Nepal thus could become the hongkong of India. the possibility is there, the potential is there. I am all for this merger. I mean of course i prefer USA foremost. :)

Male--11 yrs
Female--10 yrs
Nepal
Male--10 yrs
Female 8 yrs
Not a impressive difference ha ?

___ bro seems to live in an imaginary world where Nepal is doing much better than India. Nepal, and not India, is on its way to become the biggest, or among the biggest economies, of the world.
Sadly, there is no "N" in BRICs.....sob....sob.....though there are a few Ns in Nonsense...

Fareed Zakaria presented a prograam on Poverty Reductuin on CNN on April 27 2013. He used data from World Bank.
According to his presenttation
In 1980
in china-- Roughly 800 million chines lived in poverty
In India-----------429 million lived in poverty
In 2010
China---- roughly 140 chinese lived in poverty
India-------------approximately 400 million Indian lived in poverty
dont get baffled by statistical number here absolute value is very alarming
First Modern University of India was established in 1857
First University in Nepal was established in 1959 almost 100 yrs later with the help of India
still literacy in India is 61% and in Nepal it is 60.3%
Can you guys see some serious problem here ?
and ppl still want to be territory of India
Some more data "Intelligent" people
India ------ 0.9 bed/1000 ppl
Nepal------ 5 bed/1000 ppl
I understand there may be difference in quality of treatment available , but since when India started her modern Hoispitals and when did nepal started her??
Rome was not built in a day
If you still impressed by India then please become Indian citizen but please dont come in sajha start some threads without any homework. Know the subject before starting a thread

How can you even think of that?? Duh..do not call yourself educated person. Long live Nepal and Nepalese !!
Pople like Freedom, bittertruth, Nepaluk (really??) , why don't you people join Nepalese politics and use your education and vision to uplift nepal? We all will support you.
Well done _________ bro. You probably shut them up now. In Global Hunger Index India is worse than Nepal ( GHI 23 Vs 20 ) How can a nation that's already going through severe hunger can feed millions of hungry people of other country?
How many of you strognly believe India will be a single nation in future? Do you know there are so many separatist groups that want to alienate themselves from union of India
Whatever and however they brag of themselves, India is still a [Disallowed String for - bad word]ed up country. At least people do not live under a drum or in railway platform in Nepal.

You must be living in a world of dream my friend. again look what world bank is saying
Look How unequal are Bihar and UP. if Indian federal government have enough money they could have donwe with UP and Bihar. They have given money to those states a bit but that is not enoufgh to bring them up to the par.
Ignore all data, Ignore all facts and live in the world of fantasy my friend.
May be you nguys are suffering from "Other side of the fence is always green syndrom"

look at the data of ppl for open defecate
And Now My question is --All asbove data collected by WHO, World bank, UN, UNCEF fales,??
If Politicians in India were better then Nepal why Data shows otherwise?? I dont see Life in India any better than Nepal. Development was introduced in India almost 100 years before nepal. Nepal was living in dark age but how come data collected by independent body shows surprising similarities?
Yes our politicians are not good, yes we are poor, yes we have problems But is India any better than us ? data says no, and still ppl want Nepal to be Indian territory may be that is called " "मानसिक दरिद्रता "

You have to remember the population of India 1.3 billion, despite that she is part of BRICs nation. If Nepal becomes part of India, a lot of money will be poured in by indian investors. Nepal will get access to all the resources of India.
You seem to be unable to differentiate between a state and a country. How many of those open defecation is done by say people of Sikkim?. How many malnourished in Sikkim?. How many homicide in Sikkim?. Here I am talking about economic success and there you are talking about defecation. Are all your posts also part of that defecation?.
Also take note Nepal rupees pegged at 1.60 to indian rupees is only beneficial to Nepal. If India did not agree to that, imagine what would happen to Nepal when indian economy is among the top.
