Ha ha ha ... I dunno how true it was. If it is any consolation, I heard they cleaned, washed and dried the wood they collected from the river before they used it again. Rumor also had it the same wood was used in other sekuwa pasals too. I never could figure it out :P Maybe it was one heck of an urban legend or maybe there was some truth to it (maybe at some point in time) :D :)

What do you mean that's ok?!! :P I stopped having sekuwa from the street-side places after I heard that! (And so did plenty of people I knew). Even if it did turn out to be BS, I suppose it was still a good thing, coz you could really get sick eating some of that stuff.

Capt. saab, yes, me aka Humpty Dumpty had a great fall :)..it wasn't that great though..just a scratch here and there and sprained my anckle..otherwise I'm absolutely fine..Thanks for the concern though..very sweet of you..I managed to save my son though..it was quite funny now that I think of it :)
