rasika kancchi, I am sorry that you came from a broken home where either your dad committed suicide or he was a monster who used to abuse your mom and you daily that you are no longer able to see the good qualities of nepali man.
Honey, what you need is life long counselling. Coming into Sajha and attacking random people is only gonna make you feel better for a few hours but after that you are gonna hit rock bottom again. These people will continue their lives as happy people but you will always be sad and lonely.
Get yourself a therapist and some friends and a life. Don't let your abusive dad control you forever. Live your own life.

Rasika Kanchhi Didi,
I don't understand what happened Didi. There are many female participants who come to sajha and try to have a decent conversation with their male counter parts. And when they do try, they are mocked, villified, put down, made fun of and their gender and sexuality degraded.
Didi, Is it only wrong when females do the same to the men?
Didi, I don't understand what you did wrong when all you have done is the same as what many do to girls in sajha?
Didi, is sajha made only for men? Is sajha like the men's toilet? Did we accidentally happen to step into the men's toilet room? Is that why they are so angry with us?
Didi, I feel so guilty. But I don't realize my crime. Is it because I supported you because our gender is the same?
Didi, why are you so wrong and all of them so right, Didi?
Didi, please don't leave me here alone in sajha. Without you, sajha is a very very scary place for any girl.

Rasikajji,
After reading you flooding sajha with all your negativity towards man I cant help but put up some of things I want to say to you.
It seems like, you have this prejudice towards men even before you meet them and decide on them. If you already have prejudice, you will always have negative impression on anyone and as they say first impression is last impression, that will be so with any men you meet. and thats where your relationship will hit the rock bottom.
Well, negativity toward all men is another thing. But it even seems like you have negativity toward all the poor people either. In that other thread, this guy was merely asking for a help to find a work. He/she was not even asking for money. He/she was just asking if he can work and if anyone can help him/her find one. What is wrong with asking for work? Are you not working? Maybe your parents are rich enough so you have privilage not to work and come here and bitch about all human race. But not all people are as rich as you, so they need to work so that they can eat two meals a day. I hope you realize this reality pretty soon as if something happen to your family's wealth I am not sure, how you will survive in this cruel world.
Now to the last point, you said you came to sajha looking for your Ram and instead found Rawan everywhere.
I would choose Rawan over Ram any given time a day. Here are the some of reasons why:
a) Ram was the one who pushed the button first. Rawan's sister was just in love with Lakshman, there was no need to cut her nose just because she liked him.
b) Yeah Rawan did took Sita away. But keeping her in captivity for so many years, He respected her. He did not even touched her all those years when he could have done anything to her in captivity.
c)When Hanuman came to visit Sita, Rawan treated him with respect, it was Hanuman who disrespected him and burned more than half of Lanka.
d) Rawan never cheated in any war. Ram won the war by cheating. He killed Bali by cheating, he killed Rawan by cheating.
c) When Ram got Sita back, He made her walk on fire, just to see if she is 'sati sabitri' for her, now imagine your husband doing that to you meeting after years.
d) Just because one person in his kingdom is not satisfied, he sent his pregnant wife to jungle. or maybe he still has suspisions about her since long and that person just triggered his alarm.
Now who would you choose? Rawan or Ram?
Well that being said, I hope you learn a thing or two from all these and contribute to sajha rather than bringing all negativity over.
I am just another man. So you can hate me as much as any other.
Cheers.
Juggy.

Juggy dai,
Darshan. Do you feel there is overwhelming positivity towards women in sajha that women who come to sajha need to be overwhelmed by all the love, respect and care that all the men show to the women?
Dai, do you feel that there is such an overwhelming positive welcome of women in sajha that women should reciprocate with soft smiles and open embraces? Or is it that you feel it is perfectly ok for us women to bow down to all your words here no matter what you say?
Dai, which is it?
Didi is not talking to me. Maybe you will explain.
Rasika Kancchi didi? Didi...where are you? Please, don't leave me all alone in this scary scary place called sajha.com. Didi, come back come from where ever you are.

Mridulaji,
While I believe there should be positivity everywhere, I myself not a prime example of positivity; I have negative aspect in so many things in me that I try to change everyday. I suceed sometimes but most of time I fail. Negativity is there everywhere, the thing it not to focus on negativity, but to take a look at positive sides of everything and get along with it.
And the thing is, positivity will most of time come to you if you have positive approach. You can not expect a positive reaction when you start saying that all nepalese men are pigs. All human being being defensive, will approach you with hostility when you say that.
I myself have bouts of angry reactions all of sudden, when it goes away I always wonder why i had that when I could have solved it quitely in more logical way.
Well that being said, I hope you understood what I meant.
Hope you will remember that world is filled with ying and yang and that without both there would not be comaprision what is good and what is not good.

Juggy Dai,
Thank you for your wise words. Dai, what is the most positive way that a new girl (with a girl's name) who has joined sajha could come and have a conversation with the men without being ridiculed, made sexual jokes and put down in any and many ways?
Dai, what does a girl have to do to be loved, protected and respected in sajha in a positive way? Do you feel it is even possible? You seem like quite the optimist....but you are making me question perhaps you are a bit naive.
With all respect,
Your little bahini,
Mridula

I am another silent reader of sajha and comment rarely... this thread seems interesting and wanna say something to the girl named mridula (hope not a guy in girls name) ... instead of asking Juggy so much.. why can't u think urself about attitude of people towards ur writing/thinking? ... i think the best answer is "as you sow, so shall you reap".....
I hope you will not take it as hostile reply....

moss, you coming out of grave..how's thing there?
mridula is 11 years old, or even if she's past 26 years old, she has a brain of 11 years old..
look how she writes..
rasika has never been to a man, so she's here online commenting on men.. She is also unknowingly suffering from this syndrome called HPD( Histrionic personality disorder)
copy/paste below src: www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmedhealth/PMH0002498/
Histrionic personality disorder
Histrionic personality disorder is a condition in which people act in a very emotional and dramatic way that draws attention to themselves.
Causes, incidence, and risk factors
The cause of this disorder is unknown. Both genes and early childhood events are thought to contribute. It occurs more often in women than in men, although it may be diagnosed more often in women because attention-seeking and sexual forwardness are less socially acceptable for women.
Histrionic personality disorder usually begins in early adulthood.
Symptoms
People with this disorder are usually able to function at a high level and can be successful socially and at work.
Symptoms include:
-
Acting or looking overly seductive
-
Being easily influenced by other people
-
Being overly concerned with their looks
-
Being overly dramatic and emotional
-
Being overly sensitive to criticism or disapproval
-
Believing that relationships are more intimate than they actually are
-
Blaming failure or disappointment on others
-
Constantly seeking reassurance or approval
-
Having a low tolerance for frustration or delayed gratification
-
Needing to be the center of attention (self-centeredness)
-
Quickly changing emotions, which may seem shallow to others
Signs and tests
The health care provider can diagnose histrionic personality disorder by looking at your:
-
Behavior
-
History
-
Overall appearance
-
Psychological evaluation
Like other personality disorders, histrionic personality disorder is diagnosed based on a psychological evaluation and the history and severity of the symptoms.

Rasika didi,
It is so encouraging to see the quality of leadership that will be guiding all of our futures in Nepal. Really, I am encouraged. I feel such hope. Feel so safe in these hands. I feel I can just let go and relax and just be at peace. What do girls like you and I need to worry about with such men protecting our sisters and their children in the years to come?
Could you and I have anything to feel jittery about with intellectuals like BitterTruth looking out for our interest? I feel so overwhelmed with confidence in his leadership abilities. He sort of reminds me of Baburam Bhattarai. Do you remember Baburam Bhattarai's confidence and eloquence before he had power? My goodness, you would think the guy had achieved something at the level of Prabal Gurung or Pukar Malla. A man with such irrudition. He made me have such big dreams for Nepal. But really, what kind of a leader did he turn out to be once he actually got power?
Didi, I don't know about you, but I have such confidence in BitterTruth's leadership qualities, I want to see him as the next Prime Minister of Nepal. I feel he could do what Baburam Bhattarai couldn't.
What do you think?

mridula,
I'm sorry if that hit you where it mattered.
I didn't wanted to be mean.
Sometimes, ppl don't know what they're going through but when they know it, they can control it.
It happens you know that's why I wrote about HPD. I wrote could be. I'm not a doctor but I know about lot of syndromes. I've read books upon books on them. I just tell ppl, could be this, It's upto their free will to take whatever next steps they want to.
and mridula, that's the worst 'gaali' you've ever thrown at me.
"prime minister of nepal"
"guddpaak kha"
these are new way of "GAALI"
testo gaali chahi malai nagara , please.
baru timi sanga mukh-mukha laagdina.. bho?
yaha sabbai boka haru chan, timi boka haru sanga mukh-mukha laagi ra chau.. hiteshi ko nata ley bhaneko....
I never meant to offend you females.

Rasika Didi,
Such love, such care, such compassion. Did you see what I'm saying Didi? So I completely disagree with your assessment of BitterTruth Dai. If a person with his intelligence and his heart is not made Prime Minister of Nepal or a United Nations representative for Nepal, at least, who else would be?
Honestly Didi, I'm very tempted to send his name in for a Nobel Peace Prize. You don't disagree do you?
