Every freaking week there is a new thread related to where buddha was born. Bhate haru kaam chaina aru...ke ke na garey bhanda hun...kera huncha buddha jaha janme pani..pahila aafu sudhrinu ni. Aama bau laai gaali garya chha ..waha bhane buddha nepal ma janmeko hunu paryo re... ghadha haru.

Are we even proud to call ourself nepali bhanya? Buddha would probably prefer to be called and Indian instead.
Bichara buddha ko aatma lai ta shanti deu yaar.
We Nepalese are proud of so few things that if we lose one of them, we will have nothing to boast about, what a shame.

Technically, Siddhartha gautam was born in Nepal but he gained enlightment at Bodh gaya in India. So its on you how you take it. Buddha(knowledge) was born in India and Siddhartha Gautam was born in Nepal.
