Dear Nepalese people around the world,

My cousin brother, who is only 27 years old, is fighting for his life with end stage chronic kidney failure in Nepal. Doctors after looking at his kidney biopsy report has declared that the only option left at this point is for the kidney transplant. Dai's primary physician Dr. Sudha Khakurel from Bir hospital has referred to the doctor in India who has told that it would cost at least 700,000 indian rupees for the transplant. There is no way his family can afford that much of money for his treatment. Also, no one in his family members could be the matching donor for the kidney. Dai is now against the idea of transplant because he thinks he doesn't want some extra years of life at the cost of financial burden to his family all their life.

Thus, I have set up a web-page www.helpraj.com where we can donate whatever amount we can towards his kidney transplant. I humbly request all of you to let's join the hands together to give him that hope which he seems to have lost.

Together we can !

Raj Shrestha
Syracuse, NY

i don't know why san dai isn't helping to put this thread as 'sticky' on the top so that more people can help for this cause....wouldn't that be the biggest hope we as Sajha, Nepalese people living abroad, can give to the helpless family saying 'we are with you'...i  don't think all the help comes in the form of money ...sometimes just writing few words  in this thread to keep the thread on the homepage like slipknot_iw has been continuously doing can be a  great gesture of help

is san even hearing?

thank you all for who donated and also to the people like slipknot_iw, way2go, himalayan.kid, pramila.basnyat who have been helping to keep this thread alive in the homepage ...San didnt hear me when i send him the personal email as well as when i created  a thread especially in his name http://www.sajha.com/sajha/html/OpenThread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=55202

so i think this is the only way we can keep this thread alive so that more people can see it in sajha and help for the cause ....please i request people who donate to write few words in this thread and also to the people who are viewing this thread ...it would be a 'great gesture of help' as himalayan.kid puts it
