I have to disagree regarding luxury tax. Big cities teams like NY and LA can easily afford expensive players like KG. I heard that Lakers can make around 50 mil if they were to reach finals. Rumor has it Buss Senior is ready to give up some young girls to sign KG for long term contract...

I have my draft kit ready already, hehe...speculations are there but with so much trade talk Garnett has to feel pretty bad at being shopped around like this, but as Hukka said it's tough to pair up to players like KG and Kobe with their salaries. I would rather see KG end up in Phoenix somehow, but whatever...we will see whathappens. but kobe+KG+Phil ...that should be really good combo for 2/3 years to come, about that luxury tax, yeah Buss will have to pay that but can you imagine how many ppl will come to see Kobe and KG, hell he can raise the ticket prices and still get full crowd each game.

but yes ax and unknown bros, agree with you both on the market value of KG Kobe duo in LA but even with just those 2 i think it will be hard for them to beat teams like phoenix and SA with their current group of players. LA needs more of an assist man than a big guy in my opinion and that's probably why kobe is pissed for them to not make the deal for jason kid.

i think the best team in position make a mega deal is portland with their no.1 pick in tomorrow's draft and their already loaded young talent....but they are one of the poorly ran org so can't expect much from them.

anyways it will be fun to see who goes from 3 - 10 in tomorrow's draft.

I heard Jermaine O'neal coming to LA LA land...and in my opinion that is not gonna help lakers..O'neal is better off in the Eastern Conference where he doenst have to play one on one wit any great PF ...if he comes to west, he has to go against lots of Monster like Duncan, Brand,Amare, Dirk...man..i will get sick watchin him against those guys...so please...not O'neal..
