Lets talk seriously Mr. Soktim.....I dont know who u are...But i definately can tell that you are one of those lucky student who got good scholarship....and AS WELL YOU ALSO VERY NARROW MINDED WHO DOES NOT HAVE RESPECT TO OTHER HARD WORKING STUDENTS.
Let me clarify,
The first thing is everybody does not get scholarship like you did. There are thousands of schorship available for international student and there are millions applying for it..Now the point is, the students who does not gets the scholarship can go to school paying their tution from their personal funding or not???U mean that education should be limited only to those people who gets scholarship????not to the students who does not get schoalrship???


If some students does not gets scholarship and if he/she wants to continue his/her education from personal funding such as from parents/loan or working then nobody including you should have any problem.....


You should be proud of those students who didnt get any scholarship and are working their as@@ss off to pay their tution and bill rather than giving bad coments and harrishing to them.


Mr Saktim....let me make you clear....I think its billions time good idea to work and continue school rather than staying in home being fraustrated and diapointed for not getting any scholarship.


And the last but not least!!!!!You dont take shower with dirty waters and try to convice

I have already clarified my views on this issue in the other thread. I am not saying, only those who get scholarships, should come to US. Those who come here, work hard and keep up the good work with both studies and jobs are applaudable. However, not everyone are able to do it. There are much easier options for them in Nepal. Why undermine Nepali institutions? They may not be well-equipped for cutting-edge research but I am sure they are good enough for UG studies.

I have already made things clear about my comment on Avinash's incident. I am as equally sorry for his incident as most of you. However, I am also amazed by the stupidity he did to bring his own end. I sincerely pray for an eternal peace to the departed soul. May his family be able to get strength at this time of tragedy brought about by this irreperable loss.

Then why dont you go back to Nepal and join the institution there so that some other can get your other schoalrship..

Let x be the quantity in pounds of tea which he will be selling and which costs $7.8/lb
Let y be the quantity in pounds of tea which he will be sellling and which costs $4.3/lb

Then according to the problem, he wants to sell 50 lbs of tea at $5.14/lb. ie.

7.8x+4.3y=50*5.14...............(1)

Since he wants to sell 50 lbs in total,

x+y=50.......................(2)

Now solve equns (1) and (2) simulatenously for x and y.

Shall I solve them too?

Multiplying (2) by 7.8 and subtracting (1) from it gives,

7.8x+7.8y=50*7.8
7.8x+4.3y=50*5.14
================

3.5y=50(7.8-5.14)

or y=(50*2.66)/3.5= 38

From eqn (2)
x=50-38=12


Therefore,
x=12 lbs
y=38lbs
