Well, I have been working in SAP not a long ago. If you'e a recent graduate from 4 year degree or Masters degree, you can also start SAP. You take a training at a consulting firm for about 2 months. Then they find you job. They not only find you a job but also sponsor you for the H1-B visa. The starting pay is generally about 25 to 30 dollars per hour for 6 months and after that the billing rate become 70/30. That means if you're billing rate is 70 dolllars per hour, you do that math. Hope some of you guys out there will be interested to learn more about SAP. I'm telling this to you all because I was shocked to find 90 percent of SAP consultants from India and I haven't seen more than 1 guy in SAP from Nepal.

All this I am telling you is for US only. I will create a new thread by telling you more about SAP.

Nothing like that Riten. I just know the basic concept of SAP. Just started learing SAP a few months ago. Go to this link and you'll find summary of key points in different modules of SAP. Also they have provided links to books for different modules. Just read the review on google for each book and find out yourself as which might be ur best fit.

It would be really nice if more people read the whole thread and start asking some questions. Once again, SAP is totally new to Nepali community. I'm not a marketer.


I'm trying to inform those individuals who don't see a very good option in life and still hold higher education. SAP can be a very good choice for you people out there.
