I havent seen a movie like "THE SHUTTER". it is a thai movie ani it really is something. I used to watch all those horror movies alone at night and without any lights and in surround sound but never got scared. But after watching this movie i had a hard time sleeping for more than a week......... This is a must see movie... good luck.... dont miss this one.....

Psycho was not a Horror flick, although you might have been horrified with it.

I think in national survey, Exorcist came out at the top. For me it was Evil Dead as I remember every scary part in it when I watched it as a kid.

Hindi horror movies also used to scare the crap out of me. Later when I grew up (and I am still a kiddo), they became funny, with all white floor on their face and walking like their joints cannot bend (really, do they loose flexibility in their joints when they die?).

Even MJ's thriller was scary back then.

I heard Darna Jaroori Hai, by Ram Gopal Verma has like 25 stars and 6-7 stories that are interrelated and scary.

Watch Murde ki Jaan khatre mein. Now that's scary, ;)

Thanks RED I watched the movie "SHUTTER" after your recommendation. What an awesome movie it was and how everything fits together at the end was awesome. I watched it with my friends, cuz i could not watch it alone. The subtitles were actually pretty good. I thought watching a movie with subtiltles would be bad , but it made the movie more interesting, just like reading a book with moving pictures.

I 'll be honest with you guys, I could not sleep that night. My friends were thrilled with the movie too.

Once again, I recommend this movie to anyone who likes horror movies. It is guranteed that you will find it scary. My recommendation is do not watch it alone.

ps - make sure you get the subtitle version since the spoken language is Thai.

nightcrawler thanx man... i thought no one in sajha took me seriously..... i watched this movie about a year ago and i recommended this to some of my friends and i did watch it with them together a few day ago and it still gave me those feelings.... shit man it still did scare the shit out of me.... thats why i decided to put this recommendetion on sajha... for all who havent watched this move do watch it but not alone......

dancin nepali hottie if you get scared so easily then watch this shutter with some of your friends then i will garentee that you wont get scared with all those horrer movies so easily....... but after watching this you wont be able to sleep for a copule of days... but you will get over your horrer movie fear.... so long.....

watch "ROSE RED" BY Stephen king....... the making of the movie is good....... it is not as scary as the shutter but it is also worth watching...... but remember it is a 5 hour long movie.....
