Am I the only bahun getting tired of anti-bahun sentiments that seem to run rampant among other groups? I don't know even one developed country that is as heterogeneous as Nepal. Homogeneity is one of the key ingredients for a country to develop. It is becoming more and more obvious to me that Nepal will always be a backward cesspool unless we do something about this diversity issue we are facing. The only successful diverse country is the United States. Along with the fact that the puritans who built this country from scratch were a hard working bunch, America has a strong constitution to enforce laws in the country. How many countries can achieve such a feat? The answer is this:nobody can. Afghanistan had a civil war in the past because of their ethnic problem. The Taliban was essentially a Pashtun force. Iraq is now at the brink of a civil war. As we all know, the problem stems from the fact that Sunnis and Shias are not getting along.
Having thus established that historically speaking, there has been no diverse country that has managed to pull itself up its bootstraps, it seems blatantly obvious to me that the best resolution of this quandary would be to split the country into pieces. How much land an ethnic group receives will be commensurate with the population of the ethnic group.
1) Bahuns/Chettris: We get approximately 40% of the land as we make approximately 40% of the population.
2) Sherpas: They can join their Tibetan brethren.
3) Magars/Gurungs/Rais/Tamangs and other lookalikes: Now this is a very heterogeneous group. It's obvious that they can't live together. So each of them can have a piece of their own land. For example, Magars, who make about 10% of the population(the largest of the group) can have about 10% of the land. As for all you bahunized janjatis who speak nothing but Nepal, I feel so sorry for you. You will have to learn langugages that are totally for to you. Aww, to bad, that's the price you pay for embracing bahun/chettri culture.
4) Newars: You can keep Kathmandu
5) Ranas/Thakuris: Pack your bags and off to England you are exiled. You pricks.
6) Madhesis: Join India.

Now this is a very serious subject. I am not joking. It's obvious that Nepal is gonna implode soon. It is bound to happen. It is an inevitability. A huge ethnic conflict will erupt soon enough.

(Baburam and Prachanda can go live with Magars. You antibahun A$$holes)

It seems that we need to educate our brain in order to have a discussion in these sensitive topics before we land up in NO MAN’S LAND. Let us educate ourselves so that we can have our country as we dreamed of and that is going to happen if we look for the solution not for the problem. As we all know problem is a part of our life and it is going to remain with us as long as we are here on this beautiful planet. Please let us not fight each other just because someone is not doing right. Let us try to find what we should be doing and what we can do. PEACE……..this is what all we need and we should go for it.

Yes, this is one of the points that janjatis like to make. They suggest that bahuns came from outside. That is, we are of Indian origin. In essence, this point of view is asserting that we bahuns aren't true Nepalis. We're foreigners. However, there is no proof to buttress this point of view. Bahuns have always been Nepalis. As for your people, I say you go to either China or Burma.

We've always been here. You have conceded that you came from some foreign land. Since you are foreigners, you get out of Nepal and leave us all in peace.
Stop whining and blaming us bahuns for all your inadequacies. Most bahuns are getting tired of hearing your blather.

We're not going anywhere. We're here to stay. We make up 40%(the number is probably in the 50's. I'm just being conservative here). of Nepal's population. You can't do a thing about it. The only solution is splitting.
You blame us for all your ills. You get into drugs and all that crap. You drink like crazy. But somehow or another it's all our fault. Yes, we imported all sorts of drugs just to get you on high so we could control Nepal's politics.
Anything happens in Nepal, and it's all our fault. You are always the victims and we're always the perpetrators. How about some responsibility for a change? Why should us bahuns be held responsible for your actions? If you wanna smoke pot and get high all day long, it ain't our problem to fix. Pull your head out of the sand and start doing something about it.
I am so sick and so tired of hearing you people whine. You keep on saying that there's gonna be a backlash against us. What *have* I as a bahun done to deserve you people's scorn? Don't you get it?
So what I'm saying is that your people need to change your lifestyle. Don't blame us all for not going to school. Don't blame us all if you ended up flipping burgers at burger king. It's all your doing. And don't blame us for some of the mess in Nepal. Instead of blaming us for god-knows-what, get off that couch and start working for a change instead up beating your wives 24/7.

Do you have any proof that you came here before us? Do you have any infrastructure which is built before Pashupatinath? How do you claim that you came here before? Do you have any scriptures that mentions about Nepal. Nepal and the entire Himalaya is tha land of Aryan as you can see in many Hindu literature. They describe Himalaya, sali nadi etc. This means that aryan people lived here long long ago. If you people came here before why didnot you stop us at that time? I suspect you people came later here when aryan developed the country.

A piece of trash. That is what this thread is....

Get some life guys... there's no point shouting at each other... especially, if you are in a land you chose to go and are talking this $h*t about the land you chose to leave....

Dont try to bring a Bhutanese-type of thinking by trying to prove that your ancestors came before others... We have been living together in nepal for centuries, and now because you dont like some groups, you want to send them to some other country where they do not belong...

No nepali in Nepal wants to separate the land... it's only you guys who dont (and cant) think deeply... those who bring this sort of sh*ts care the least about Nepal... that i can say for sure.....

All the facts and figures about rulers in nepal can be read from those high school books. You like you have read a lot of mythology books and need a bed time story to sleep like a small sissy boys.
