Beloved Prerana,

My dreams are very rapid and colourful these days. The reason must be simple and obvious.

As usual, there were you with me last night, in my dream. This time, in a garden of the queen of flowers; so beautiful that at first I couldn’t believe it really existed. I was lying in the petals of roses and you were by my side with your velvet visage rested on my bumpy bosom. ‘Honey’, I said ‘this garden must have fallen from the paradise’. ‘So what?’ your nimble reply reverberated through the pink sky. ‘I found a maiden place that can match your grandeur. I will build a cottage for you in this wonderland’, I dared to amplify my dreams within my dream. ‘Shut up!’ Your sweetly spontaneous push made me crash to the real world.

I turned on the lights and there were you smiling at me from inside the silver photo frame that stood grandly on top of my work station. I gazed at your image, remembered the real you and recalled the exquisite garden of my dream. Oh dear! I was thoroughly disillusioned in the darkness. If there was anything that could match the angelic beauty of my loved one, it was the paper imprint of you. Everything else that deluded me in obscurity was a flash in the pan. Seldom do I wish to see at the opposite breeds, for the sheer presence of you in my eyes are enough for me to cherish the splendours of womanhood.

Darling! Since we started to love each other, my life has begun to transform. The magic of your love has cast a spell of fortunes for me. I have started to smile every time, I have started to look myself at the mirror, dress myself smart, do things in order, sought after for perfection and think that I am on top of the world. The changes are miraculous and when my buddies remind me about this, I get more reasons to be delighted. Your arresting smile greet me with consummate confidence to help me find the answer to their curiosity-what else than my sweetheart’s affections? I wish I could tell them that I have fallen in love with the most beautiful lady in this world, but for a shy persona in me I am still not able to reveal the inner truth. But what is there to reveal when my body language impersonates the character of a Romeo? Without my angel, I’d have lost my way. I am galloping forward because of your love.

The light of my life, the most graceful maiden ever born, the most charming heart amongst the billions, the biggest treasure one can possibly discover, my heartbeat, I am truly over the moon with the realization that I have bagged your peerless soul. I feel great wondering that I must have some speciality, otherwise how could I win your magnificent heart? Now I have one motto for my life-to keep this treasure with the greatest care and affection. I shall do anything that takes to nurture you, I shall achieve anything that fulfils your dream, I shall overcome any obstacles that try to come between us, and I shall ensure you with the love that matches your perfection. You are my destiny, you are my world, and you are every reason for me to live. I will persevere to ensure that I will breathe your love in every particle of air I inhale. Sorry if I had been selfish but your love is my endless persuasion. And I will rejoice the rollercoaster of life to give you the best treatment I can afford.

Fairy maid, I have already perceived through your heart. I have seen how precious elements it is made up of with my own eyes. Hence I can tell how serene and beautiful it is. The heart as deep as an ocean, as big as the universe, as gorgeous as the full moon and as virgin as the new born baby; I can declare the world that the best creation in the universe is you. If anyone doesn’t believe, it’s because one is ignorant about you or jealous of me. If anyone sees flaws in you, it’s because one is blind. The truth rests on the sparkle that the gem in your heart reflects every time. I’d doubt if I had not witnessed it. The truth I have discovered is that the sun glows for you, the moon lights for you, the flowers blossom for you, the waterfalls flow for you, the mermaids swim for you, the cuckoos sing for you, the rainbow shines for you, the peacocks dance for you; they are them because you exist. Your existence complements their essence.

Honey, after we fell for each other, every day of mine has been a valentine’s day. Every seconds of my life has been a valentine’s moment. But on this special spell, on the eve of the lovers’ day, I am trying to give you something special. I wish I could gift you the stars twinkling in the sky; I could pluck for you the flowers blossomed in the garden of Babylon. The nature came my way and I couldn’t gift you those dreams in this Valentine’s Day. But I am giving my life as a gift to you. I know you will accept my souvenir with the same cute, alluring smile, with that sweet gentle kiss and keep it safely in your heart for ever.

Oh the lyrics of my aspirations, the melody of my imaginations, and the song of my life, my dearest one in the universe! Many thoughts have flowed from my mind to my heart today. I am collecting each of them to weave an epic of love. For now though, I will just tell the summery of my feelings in the sweetest anthem of mankind- I Love you.

The Legend : The Origin

Sri Hanumanji is an incarnation of Lord Siva.

Brihaspati (the preceptor of the gods) had an attendant by the name of Punjikasthala who was cursed to assume the body of a female monkey. The curse was to be removed on her giving birth to an incarnation of Lord Siva. Accordingly, she was born as Anjana and, together with her husband Kesari (so named on account of his being as brave as a lion), lived a life of chastity and purity. She performed intense Tapasya (austerities) for a great many years, during which period she worshipped Lord Siva who being pleased with her granted her a boon. She asked that He (Lord Siva) be born to her so that she may be freed from the curse.

When Dasaratha, the king of Ayodhya was given the sacred payasa (pudding) by Agnideva to share among his wives so that they may have divine children (Ram, Lakshmana, Bharata and Shatrughna), by divine ordinance, a bird (kite) snatched a fragment of that pudding and, whilst flying over the forest, dropped it where Anjana was engaged in worship. Pavandev (the deity presiding over the wind) delivered that fragment of pudding to the outstretched hands of Anjana who immediately swallowed it. With that grace, she, in due course, gave birth to Hanumanji. Thus we find that Lord Siva incarnated as Hanumanji in the bodily form of a monkey through the grace and blessings of his god-father Pavandev, with Anjana and Kesari as his earthly parents.

Childhood
As soon as Hanumanji was born, Anjana was released from the curse and wished to return to Heaven. Hanumanji asked his mother what his future would be and how he was to earn his living. She assured him that he would never be destroyed, and said that fruits as ripe as the rising sun would form his food. Thinking that the glowing and glittering sun was food to be eaten by him, the baby Hanumanji being divine in nature, made just one leap for it. He was 1600 miles from the sun when Rahu, who was exclusively enabled to harass the sun (thus causing eclipses or obstacles to the sun) complained to Indra (king of the gods in heaven) of this new threat to his power. Indra struck Hanumanji with his thunderbolt, wounding his chin and causing him to fall down to earth.

The god-father Pavandev carried Hanumanji to Patala (the nether regions) and as he departed from the earth, all life was endangered. Brahma and all the other gods went to Patala and begged Pavandev to return. In order to appease him they conferred great boons on the baby Hanumanji. The blessings of all the gods made Hanumanji invincible and more powerful than any other being, divine or ordinary. Thus Hanumanji is an embodiment of the powers of all the gods and goddesses.

Education
Hanumanji mentally chose Surya (the Sun-god) as his preceptor. Therefore he approached Surya with the request to be taught the scriptures so that he may manifest spiritually in daily life. Surya agreed to have Hanumanji as his disciple but pointed out that it was not possible for him to stop his journey across the sky as that would cause chaos in the world. But Hanumanji was so mighty that he surprised all the gods by facing his Guru, who had to be constantly moving, thus (Hanumanji) traversing the sky backwards and at the same time concentrating fully on his lessons.

In this way Hanumanji enabled Surya to perform his duty and to impart knowledge at the same time. Within a short period of 60 hours, Hanumanji mastered all the scriptures. Surya considered the manner in which Hanumanji accomplished his studies as sufficient dakshina (tuition fees), but Hanumanji pressed him to accept more. Surya then asked Hanumanji to assist his son Sugriva, who was living in Kishkindha, by being his minister and constant companion.

and ya Hanuman, the same monkey who nearly ate the sun , thinking it was a ROTI lol..how intellect !!! hehe
