First of all, no any referee will be influence or intimidate by any player or team. That has been misunderstanding. Referee didn't awarded penalty. I think this is endless claim in between two parties with their prospective. Unless real person (referee) verify. By the way, you can do that through organizer.


Second, DC doesn't have to be lucky. They have proven last four year by winning championship. As far as I know, they are in final all the time in ANA soccer history. Having said that, there is no doubt that NY is good team this year. It was how you play. I think DC play smart soccer by playing defensive game after one goal lead. If you talk about luck, NY was lucky to get bye to get semi-final and they got LA (all of us know what type of team LA were). It was DC that has to play three days twice with Dallas add Nebraska/Kansas player on semi-final.

No one mentioned anything about refree being influenced....wrong signals and change of decisions... definately. No verification is required...becasue histroy is not gonna change...u gotta live with it.

Actually "Lucky" was the work you used for NY, your underestimation of the NY deserves a laudation..Any team could have gotten a bye just so happened it was NY. Brother, just remember histroy changes and will....But again, DC had good players and good sportsmanship...it was only a controversial win. But a win's a win...what u gonna do..right?

Bahadur977 seems like a qualified refereee..knew no one who read/knew the rules...i never have read those rules...practically learn it while watching and playing the game..the best way to learn i guess ..:o)...

but still got one question....(haven read the rules yet..hehe..) how can it be a indirect free kick inside the penalty box..when it was a foul? a foul is a foul..no matter how big or small it is..if the referee blows his whistle when a foul is committed inside the penlaty box(for the attacking team) well that should be a penalty...straight and clear..well someone pls explain to me why it shouldnt be..only way of getting an indirected free kick in a penalty box was i thought...if its a back pass or...if the keeper breaks the 6 seconds rule...dyam who was the refeeree??though i wasnt there..seems like he was intimidated...pretty strange decisions...that too twice :o|....this final is gonna be debated for yrs hehehe....

Well, I have never underestimation of the NY Soccer team. In my each posting, I have stated NY is good soccer team.

Good thing is...Both team has shown good sportsmanship on and off the field.

Yeah, win is win...

The fact is, there will be always controversial when two good team play and score is close (with referee's decision is factor on wining and loosing).
