DWI, congratulation being the overall leader. It's nice to see the leader from NYC rather than NE (no offense Proud bro) :D:D I am making progress and I am always do better on 2nd half of the seaosn :p don't believe me? ask Nepali NBA fantasy league manager :) Congratulation kanchi... ya did a great job picking texans and jags.... I have yet to meet a girl who knows about all sports like you.... Congratulation tot he texans fans for their first win... enjoy it as much you can coz you may not see another win...... One girl in the league and she kicked our rear end... heheheheheh I am okay with it. I know some of us got something called male ego :p if so good luck with your picks for this weekend Is NY Giants that good of a team??? I picked them first time to win the game and will be picking them rest of the season.... Tikki seems to always perform good... I don't think of him as a good RB... but he seems to be underrated now..... Younger Manning seems comfortable now...REAL DEAL??? let's wait till end of the year... JETS is a BAD BAD BAD team and Minny in a horrible state after losing Dante.... I hear Dante is done for good??? I hope not... got a glimpse of his talent while in college... it seems i will never get to see him play as a pro.... Farve and 5 picks??? I am not surprised with such a lousy sorrouding casts, I think Farve should step aside and let Rodgers play..... what's up with chargers again... i picked them to lose and they win... I think DWI has a better records on Chargers so I will pick wotever he does.... I can't understand this team at all. Turbine, thanks for correcting me.. I changed the score.... Proud bro, jhelli garnu paundaina la... if I did any more boo-boo, please inform me ... Thanks

hey, what's on the air? I just got too busy at my work. Dam, I had to make my picks at my 15 minutes break :) I thought I didn't put enough thoughts on my picks since I was in a hurry. Nevertheless, not too bad. I will like to see COmpetition:) You see what I meant AX? At least DWI is giving me some compeition. That is cool. lol ANd I bet this coming weekend (on MNF) I will be the LONE picker of my NE Pats. I am guessing, PATS will go pick up Lenny Walls (corner Back) from Denver. I heard Walls is placed on Injured Reserve and is going to get cut off. Since the rookies Williams and Foxworth are outplaying Walls, Broncos are going to let him go. And I am sure with injuries to POOle, Randal GAy, ChadScott (scott and Poole out for season, with TY LAw already in NY) and all the 3 guys on Strong safeties banged up (Harrison out for the season, backup Guss Scott out for the season, and third stringer James Sanders also injured, the OUT OF the Street Pick up Stones doing the duties) Lenny Walls can play some NICKLE role. he can surely be used against the opponent's 3rd or 4th wrs. Anyways, Good to see Bruschi back. I hope Seymour gets back soon. Gosh.... another Pats (patrick Pass) goes down. Oh, we are getting Turnovers. We will need more of them against the Colts. This time we shall beat Colts with the offense :) Hey AX bro, I didnt do any JHELA!! but again, one game is not gonna affect that much. well you can say I would have tied for the lead at this point:) well, let's see, its just halfway to the season. Anyways, guys keep it up. jai Nepal Go pats go proudNepali

Proud, what's up with the name Rekha??? Competition eh? Hmm...U know what, this board has been so civil, I wouldn't mind some trash talks too..in a good/humerous way. So! Bring it on baby!! In all honesty, I am just contend on getting more than 50% every single week than leading the pack. I know Hangu, Proud are right behind so the title is up for grabs. AX is just warming up so u never know, he might catch up. Turbine is running as well, is it the regular 7 stage turbine? Wish Kanchi had started earlier, we could off talk some trash to her as well, lol. But as far as % win is concerned Kanchi is right there. I think we should also acknowledge that. AX, problem is not with Favre..look at the protection he gets. As far as Manny is concerned, he didn't have a great game last week..but survived. That'll teach him some character.

Proud Bro, All this time I was thinking you were a guy. Well being into all the sports and stuff. (No offense to Kanchi ofcourse). Now I'm wondering are you a guy or a girl? Cause the name REKHA is certainly not a guys name. So if you are a girl, I guess I have to say you're well informed of your sport. Keep it up. Anyways, congrats to Kanchi for her good picks. I don't know if this is my worst picks yet. 7-7. That sucks. Next week will be better for sure. DWI, hope I'm not in some sort of a flunk. Don't worry. Not too long before I catch up to you. The Season is only half over. Ax bro thanks for the correction and the continued update you do for us. Good luck to all especially to me for the coming week's pick......

sorry about the confusion Turbine bro, I had problems getting to post on my computer. So, I emailed Rekha, and she posted for me. I will be really surprised to know if any Nepali Gal will have such detailed knowledge of American sports. I know bunch of Nepali sathi (ketis) who have some knowledge about their school teams and their rivals but not one with all around knowledge. But again, I am ready as always to be proved wrong. haha DWI, take it easy. And yeah, its quiet easy to get in Competition with just picking the picks. One can always listen to guys at vegas and get minimum of 10 correct picks each week. But I know none here does that. Just like myself many of you guys just guess. I know AX bro goes through the team's reports and few more. I try to pick few upsets all the time. But again, the favorites to win the game (by poll or by experts guess) wins most of the time. For an example: for week 9: atlanta, carolina, cincy, detroit, jacksonville, KC, SD, Tennessee, Chicaog NY (giants), Seattle, Pitts, Philly, Indianapolis wil be the VEgas picks. But I dont go with just the matchups,, I try to look at the guys who wil be missing, or the guys who are in good shape and etc.. its an intellgent guess rather than just a pick up guess. But again Football is an interesting game..... need I say more. to solve these Problems with ties. I will get a COnfidence Pool next year. I will explain how it works. But i will assure you guys, COnfidence pool will distinguish, the bling guessers from the intelligent guessers. haha, but again most of the folks here on Sajha are intelligent. In the same line, KuDoS to AX for getting the spreadsheets and heads Up to folks leading on the picks. as always jai Nepal go pats go proudNepali

Okay Proud, I said trash...but not that much of it. lol. Don't u have to pay some dough for those Vegas prediction? Beside would it be fun to just go along with somebody else's prediction. I don't know most of the folks around here, but I can say that AX is a good analyzer. I have seen ur reasonings as well so know for sure u don't follow the predictions (nothing wrong with that but still). As for me these are the factors I look: 1. Team's overall record 2. Major injuries 3. Offensive match up, Rushing and Passing yds for both teams 4. Defensive match up, Rushing/Passing yds of opponent 5. Home/Away team (ofcourse advantage to home) 6. Performance in last 4 matches (downward or upward trend) Above are my major criteria in the correct order. Other things such as momentum, team build-up, coaching style of the match up etc factor in as well when the match up is really tight. Now as far as a Nepali girl knowing these stuffs..hasn't Kanchi proven that already? Fun to have competition, proud, Boston and NY always had the rivalry remember? Brings up the respect factor.

welcome to the thread himalaya178, you have been missing all this fun, you can still join this league... my only job here is to tally the scores :) and to spice up this thread with controversial comments :D:D you also should join the NEP NBA fantasy league...you can get more info at http://sajha.com/sajha/html/OpenThread.cfm?forum=2&ThreadID=24356 I know you are a good basketball player, but let's see how good of a talent evaluator you are :p yo guys, ya giving me more credit than i deserve... honestly i am really bad picking nfl games.... the standing tells the whole story... if it was not our reddu bro, i be sitting at the bottom by myself :D:D proud bro and turbine, be glad that many sajha feminists haven't read your comments else you two been..... ani laaj lagdaina testo bhannu lai after getting kicked our rear end by kanchi... or she is not nep :s I agree with DWI and proud, I enjoy picking upset of the week and controversial games..... i do check injury reports before i pick the teams.. having said i still need help picking Lions and Chargers games ;) NFL is not my forte... I like college football than pro... I enjoy MLB and NBA than football.... so can we move the thrash talking stuffs to NBA thread :p

hey guys... been busy all week... First of all thank to AX for keeping the track of the scores.....u're doin gr8 .... What a week once again for the Pro football fans............. good to c Bruschi back on the field............Tiki Barber ofcourse had a dream week.........Bronces are back this season with a bang after their marauding rhe eagles....... Sad that Culpepper, it seems is out for the season.......I still believe he is a good QB. Well Tuna n his boys can catch their breath a bit after being 5-3 before a bye week ahead........they surely have a tough 3 games in 11 days after that........... of course there are lots of should have been and would have been before the bye week........ BEST GAME OF THE WEEK---------> Steelers vs. Ravens...... WORST GAME OF THE WEEK----------> Redskins Vs. giants ( unless u r giants fan) Ofcourse I wished I could have joined this Sajha league earlier.....anyways ... hey....anyone buying the idea for Manning VS. Mannning SuperBowl....well too early i guess Wow ....what a week we're heading into ........Colts vs. Pats ...what a game that'll be......i'd love to c the predictions divided.....( or maybe not) colts are 7-0 this season but payton manning is 0-7 against the pats at foxborough.... Interesting to know how u guys pick the teams....well i agree with AX and Proud......injury report n fantasy football helps........also your whim for home team ... BEST OF LUCK FOR NEXT WEEK.......

Kanchi, you failed to mention the worst game of the week also goes to Vikes against Carolina. I could not watch this brutal thrashing by the Carolina, all credits to them btw for playing an excellent game. Delhomme was pretty. It was a marvellous exhibition of quartebacking. But again, what a loss for Minnesota. Can anything go bad for them at the moment? It has just gone worst. The loss of Dante will have a tremendous impact on the already struggling Vikes team who needed their QB to guide them. But now they have to rely on the arm of the old horse. I think the team tactics needs to change immediately. I don't think the Vikings are good through the air now that Dante is gone. The ground game should be impeccable. The duos of Moe Willams and Mewelde Moore can be a good one-two punch. Ocassional play action passes will result in big gains if the ground game becomes a weapon. They have got to get their receivers open through the ground attack. Mewelde Moore just scored his second touchdown in consecutive games. I think now Moe Williams needs to be converted from a short yardage specialist to a long yardage powerplay. Mike tice needs to get the two tied ends to immediately become active. The Vikes need the old Jim Kliensasser right away. We all know what he is capable of as he showed his class before his injury that sidelined him for the rest of the last year. But again, he is a super player. I think the idea behind throwing to a rookie Williamson one on one with the secondary looks like a bad one. Nate Burleson has shown flashes of genius ocassionally. He should be the target, rather than Williamson. And by the way! what a MNF in offer. Pats agaist Colts. Should be a treat!

You all kNow, I wil be Picking PAts even pats had 0-7 record :) But again, In "Bill" we trust. As long as BRady (brady not Favre) is throwing the Ball we have all the hopes. That's what a NEw Englander Feels. Hey AX bro, I didn't try to offend any Nepali Kanchis, Sailis, mailis, jethis etc. Just stating the simple plain truth. But again this friend of mine in CAlifornia (Jethi..I guess) knows more about baseball (not football).... we talk about baseball a lot and she wil bring lots of Un-Highlighted Historical events. Hmm... I hope all these kanchis will appreciate My Honest inputs. haha With or without Dante Culpepper.. the Vikes did stink this first half of the year. I am Dante Fan myself but he been struggling this season. But hey man, he is a QB he isn't supposed to be scrambling so dangerously in the middle of the field. I know his "legs" give him clear advantage amongst the QBs in this league, but man when you know you are going to get hit you just slide and protect yourself. I know we all love him for what he does but sometimes, you need to protect yourself. I hope he gets a good rehab. and comes back firing as his usual self. Like the Dante of 2004. Washington was just destroyed by Giants. It was as if they deployed a nuclear bomb. They learnt a good lesson though - "do not trade your back up quarterback to your division rivals." Tim Hesselbeck knew every move Washington was going to make. He was with a microphone in the sidelines acting like a play-caller. No free toppings by Papa John last monday. Lets see how many free topings i am going to get this Monday when Eagles come to town. Good luck with your picks guys. I will post my picks at the last moment. Games are mostly decided on who will play and who will not. They change the roster at the last moment, so my picks will also come at last moment. Rekha is also a football fan huh!! never knew that! Congrats DWI, but i'm behind you. You might say way-behind but i hope to catch up. hehe..
