Wake up boyz and galz......... NFL kickoff is just 48 hrs away. Can you believe it??? Go get your team shirts and pigskins to throw in the snow. Let's talk some Football here. Let each other know about your favorite team and share what each of us has to say about this NFL season. By the way.. if you guys do not have a favorite team yet or have a doubt that your team might bring to you another disappointing season then............ here's a solution. Rooot for the NEW England Patriots. It's always a safe bet. I got my BRady shirt and the Patriot Hats.......... I gotta go pick up my Ty Law Shirt and Rodney Harrison shirts as well (..well that depends on how much BUCK I can afford to spend!!!!!$$). So guys Watch for them COwboys. GO patriots go. Jai Nepal

week 9 results: aakash bro is in a roll. getting 10 rights past 2 weekend. i don't think i have done this bad ever. - big Ben and steelers are for real - seems Drew Breese of Chargers going to be most coveted free agent this year. Isn?t he supposed to play great like he is doing when he came out of Purdue? - what?s up with Colts defense? They going anywhere with that kinda defense. Wasn?t Tony Dungy regarded as the defensive genius??? - Dolphins loss was unbearable. They blew the lead in the end and what?s up with Dolphins defense??? Secondary??? It seems coach is going to be fired. Ricky ?POTHEAD? Williams should take all the blame. - cowboys???

I found this on another board and it cracked me up. I thought y'all might enjoy it. It has been brought to my chaste attention that ESPN?s College Game Day will be on our campus this Saturday. I understand that a lot of you are going to wake up early and drive to Auburn to watch the show live. If I were you I would just sleep late and not worry about the ESPN goons. I?ve seen jackasses on TV and in person, there is no difference. Not to mention campus is going to be crawling with Georgia fans. And I don?t want to offend Georgia fans, because they will hump your leg and s#!% in your yard, but the less I see of them the better. That being said, if you are still worried that you will miss something monumental by not watching Game Day in person, take a look at the script for this week?s show. Game Day Script: November 13th, 2004 Chris Fowler: Welcome to the loveliest village on the plain, Auburn, Alabama. This is ESPN?s Game Day, brought to you by the Home Depot. We have been avoiding coming to Auburn for years, because Pat Dye has threatened to shoot Lee Corso. However, today?s game between the Tigers and the Georgia Bulldogs is too big for us to ignore. Two years ago in Jordan-Hare, Georgia captured the SEC?s Eastern Division with a forth and fifteen pass from David Green to Michael Johnson. For those of you who have not seen the play, take a look at this excruciatingly slow replay. *excruciatingly slow replay plays* Kirk Herbstreit: That replay never gets old, and neither does all the sex I get from star struck college girls. Lee Corso: Your chubby leftovers are not bad either. Can we see that replay again? Fowler: Maybe later, but now we are going to take a look at one of college football?s most touching stories. Most people do not know this, but David Pollock and David Greene have been friends since the Nixon administration. Growing up in Snellville, Georgia, Greene and Pollack forged a special bond, similar to that of Siegfried and Roy. And even though neither of them has been mauled by an albino tiger, they make magic on and off the gridiron. Take a look at this heartwarming and mildly erotic special. *mildly erotic video plays* Herbstreit: Truly amazing story. And what?s more amazing is the fact that David Greene?s parents are Auburn graduates, and Greene grew up wanting to play for Auburn. How could Auburn have let this kid slip away? I?m so attractive. Corso: Even more amazing is that David Pollack is the love-child of Liberace and Nadia Comaneci. Fowler: Nadia still haunts my dreams. Now let?s turn to our friend Rocket Ismail for this weeks edition of Prep To Pro Rocket: I know we in Auburn today man, but we gonna be looking at David Pollack today man. Dis boy gotta motor dat won?t quit man. He is just like the Pope, cause da Pope is old, but his motor ain?t quittin man. Look at dis video of big David skippin off da field. Now compare dis video of da Pope, blessin dem souls! Their motors don?t quit man! Back to you Chris. *Crowd Boos* Fowler: Thanks Rocket, God-awful as always. Now it is time for predictions. Today?s game is monumental for Auburn, and I hope they come out tight. Georgia should be loose and ready to play. Let?s get our expert?s picks, starting Bubba Sparxxx. *Crowd Boos* Sparxxx: This is Bubba?s moment, I put my momma on it. Bought a ring off eBay and you know I?m gonna flaunt it. Dawgs in a rout, my sister has the gout. If Pollacks in the closet then you know he?s coming out. *Crowd Boos* Herbstreit: I think the key to today?s match-up is simple, quarterback play. Look for Chris Rix to lead Georgia to a big road win on his way to capturing the Heisman Trophy. If you need me I?ll be at the Phi-Mu dorm. *Phi Mu's Cheer, Rest of Crowd Boos* Corso: Not so fast my friend. Auburn??.is the home team. And because applause makes me feel loved, I am going to pick them. *Crowd Boos* Pat Dye: Hey Corso, get off my stage you stupid son of a b!$%@ *Gunshots, Crowd Cheers* Go Auburn!!

My picks for the coming weekend: WEEK 10 Sunday, Nov. 14 Baltimore at N.Y. Jets: Ravens (I am sorry QUincy Carter cannot operate the Jets offense as efficiently as CHad Pennington) Chicago at Tennessee: Titans (Homefield advantage for the Titans. Other than that.. they are not doing that great this season) Detroit at Jacksonville: Jaguars (Biologically Lions have edge over the Jags.. but in 2004, Jags defense should hold the lions offense for a loss) Houston at Indianapolis: Colts (Did you seee Manning Last week, and the other week.. and the other... this guy is prolly break Dan Marino's record. TExans will score above 24 but will come short) Kansas City at New Orleans: CHiefs (what a disappointing loss by the hands of the Buccs!!! Oh... P. Holmes if out also. Oh well... Orleans are very inconsistent as well) Pittsburgh at Cleveland: Browns (upset special. Big Ben had already made a name for himself in this pro-league. One more win will set a record for rookie starting QB in the most consecutive wins column. I just see that not happening. How?? let's watch and see) Seattle at St. Louis: Rams (What a matchup.. for the divisional lead. St. louis should win at home despite losing to THE PATS last weekend ) Tampa Bay at Atlanta: Buccs(Seems like the Buccs had learnt to play football on time. Greese is trying to prove again why he is a starter in this league and not a 3rd stringer QB. And Pittman seemingly recovered really well from his injuries. Oh.. some defensive injuries in the Falcons lineup can be the deciding factor) Cincinnati at Washington: Bengals (For some reason I cannot appreciate the things this Joe Gibbs team have done this season. Well ..one of the top defensive team.. but the BEngals aren't sleeping either) Carolina at San Francisco: Panthers (Panthers had been really disappointhing this season. Maybe, a victory against the lowly 49ers will help them gain some momentum) Minnesota at Green Bay: Packers (If anyone missed last week's MNF... then this one can give you the same kinda excitement. A golden opporunity for the green and yellows to go atop the division N.Y. Giants at Arizona: Cardinals (overachieved Giants team will lose again. Oh welll they lost Strahan now... We might see Manning this Sunday on the field) Buffalo at New England: Patriots (Pats should score over 40 points again. Mcghee will try to apply some of his magics.. but in vain) Monday, Nov. 15 Philadelphia at Dallas: COwboys (Is BILL Parcells still coaching? We might see another QB change in Dallas. Vinnie is too old .... his last couple of starts kinda indicate that. Eagles are good football team yet We might have had seen their true colors last weekend. Who is gonna run the ball?) Game of the week: Bills against the Pats: Some streaks had gone by.. but the home game winning streak is gonna keep on building. GO patriots go. Jai Nepal

hey Ax bro...i guess Huskers r not eligible for the Bowl game this year.......what a pitiful game ! i never thought huskers could be this bad....i m glad they hit that field goal at the end...haha....anyways....better luck next year..... Auburn looks real good but they r not gonna beat Oklohoma in BCS rating. I was cheering up for Caviliers but they lost a very close game ...miami looked much better this week....so..who will be playing big 12 this year......rematch between Texas and Oklohoma? anyways....time for the NFL......few good games this week...i think Rams Vs Seahaws game is gonna be the most exciting game of this weeknd... Week 10 prediction Chiefs vs Saints >>>>>>>>> Chiefs ( its time for the deep passes by trent green...he will be throwing for more than 300 yds in absense of Holmes) Ravens vs Jets >>>>>>>>>> Ravens( Ravens D should be able to conquer QB Carter and force few TO) Lions vs Jags >>>>>>>>>>> Jags ( home field advantage...but is Leftwich hurt? i m not sure....i hope he is not ) Bucs vs Falcons >>>>>>>>> Falcons ( simply cause falcons has Mr.Vick...a playmaker) Steelers vs Browns >>>>>>> Steelers ( Browns might pull this one off but i dont care...Staley is hurt .he aint playing....so we will be able to see more of Big Ben ) Seahawks vs Rams >>>>>>> Rams ( Rams will win this one AGAIN) Bears vs Titans >>>>>>>>> Titans ( Titans arent as bad as they look...they will win at home ) Texans vs Colts >>>>>>>>> Colts ( Its show time....it will be a close one but Colts will find a way to the victory zone ) Bengals vs Redskins >>>>>> Redskins ( if Redskins lose this game, i m really gonna call them a Dead skins ) Vikings vs Packers >>>>>>>> Packers ( Homeboy Ahman Green gonna have a hugeee game and Packers will control the clock and win this one by 10 points ) Giants vs Cardinals >>>>>>> Giants ( Warner out .... Eli In....may be ? ) Panthers vs 49ers >>>>>>> Panthers ( I really wanna see Panthers winnin a football game...go panthers ) Bills vs Pats >>>>>>>>>>> Pats ( i hate them but cant deny the fact that they r the complete football team ) Eagles vs Cowboys >>>>>> Eagles ( T.O and Johnson...its gonna be fun to watch them trash talking this week......we will see what To is gonna do this time ) Happy DIpawali everybody !!!

I will be one hell of an upset Auburn fan tomorrow if they do not bump Auburn ahead of Oklahoma in the polls. How many top ten teams Auburn needs to beat to be a National Championship contender? Auburn beat LSU(then ranked 4), Tennesse(then ranked 8) and now Georgia (ranked 5) and remember Auburn plays in SEC and which is the toughest conference in College Football. If that is not enough to be number 2 in polls and BCS standings then system is gravely flawed. I have great respect for Oklahoma's offense but defense...umm that is mediocre at its best...they gave up 75 points between Cowboys and aTm games and I do not think that is how #2 team's defense should be. I hope the National Championship at Orange Bowl will be between best 2 teams that is USC and Auburn. But Auburn needs to take care of Alabama and the SEC championship game before it can sing its last song. The way Auburn is playing...it is clear who will be the undisputed National Champion come Jan 4th. __________________________________________ 1.Tampa Bay at Atlanta -> This is not 2002 champions..Vick will run wild disecting every llinebackers and the secondary. Vick all day way!! 2.Pittsburgh at Cleveland -> Steelers 3.Houston at Indianapolis ->Colts 4.Detroit at Jacksonville ->Jaguars 5.Kansas City at New Orleans -> Chiefs 6.Baltimore at N.Y. Jets ->Ravens 7.Seattle at St. Louis -> Seahawks 8.Chicago at Tennessee ->Bears 9.Cincinnati at Washington ->Bengals 10.N.Y. Giants at Arizona ->Giants...when they going to let Eli Manning be the signal caller. Can't wait for that day! 11.Minnesota at Green Bay ->Packers 12.Carolina at San Francisco ->Panthers 13.Buffalo at New England ->Patriots 14.Philadelphia at Dallas ->I like TO's antics..Eagles Go Auburn!! Go Falcons!!

IT was a great FOOTball weekend: Seems like college football cannot stay out of contradiction. Auburn's performance was really impressive.. but so was that of Oklahoma and USC's. They all beat their opponents really bad. Just that Bulldogs were ranked #5 while C'Huskers and WIldcats were unranked. It appears really unfair to rank AUBURN out of the top 2 spots, but it sounds equally strange to drop either of the top 2 teams also.AUBURN apparently had the most difficult schedule. But, to me USC's schedule is the weakest of all. I know people are talking about Dropping Oklahoma into 3rd.. but I am surprised why not drop USC to #3. Spot. After all USC is in the least competitive conference as compared to Oklahoma's BIG 12 or AUburn's SEC. Or is it because of the HYPE that is still being carried over from last year's final BCS standing!!! (Well... I once had a question IF THE Wolverines had beaten the TRojans, would they have been the National champion??) that none bothers to talk about USC and thier #1 rank. Auburn had beaten More teams ranked within TOP 10 (LSU, Tennessee and Georgia) than anybody else. But if we look at remaining of their schedule then we can see they had also beaten more nO Name teams than anybody else. However, All of the top 3 teams had beaten their opponets pretty convincingly excpet by USC against, Stanford (31-28), California (23-17), Oklahoma against Oklahoma State (38-35), Texas A &M (42-35), and Auburn against LSU (10-9). It's really difficullt to tell which team should be ranked #1? So, we might have to wait until the end of the regular schedule to see where does each of the teams fall under BCS final standings. USC has games against Notre Dame and UCLA and they should win comfortably given their oppoents haven'd have a good season. Oklahoma has to play Baylor, should be a big blow out game for them before playing for NOT yet determined opponent for the BIG 12 title. Auburn has Alabama in hand, which plays really good at home, but again shouldn't be a big problem, and then a tough SEC title game given that they beat Alabama. It looks like each of the top 3 teams have 2 games in their hands to maintain or change their future as of being top 2 in the final BCS standing. To do some more analysis I have these 3 teams season scores game by game: Game 1 #1 USC 24, Virginia Tech 13 #2 Oklahoma 40, Bowling Green 24 #18 Auburn 31, Louisiana Monroe 0 Game 2 #1 USC 49, Colorado State 0 #2 Oklahoma 63, Houston 13 #19 Auburn 43, Mississippi St. 14 Game 3 #1 USC 42, BYU 10 #2 Oklahoma 31, Oregon 7 #15 Auburn 10, #4 LSU 9 Game 4 #1 USC 31, Stanford 28 #2 Oklahoma 28, Texas Tech 13 #10 Auburn 33, The Citadel 3 Game 5 #1 USC 23, #7 California 17 #2 Oklahoma 12, #5 Texas 0 #9 Auburn 34, #8 Tennessee 10 Game 6 #1 USC 45, #19 Arizona State 7 #2 Oklahoma 31, Kansas State 21 #6 Auburn 52, Louisiana Tech 7 Game 7 #1 USC 38, Washington 0 #2 Oklahoma 41, Kansas 10 #4 Auburn 38, Arkansas 20 Game 8 #1 USC 42, Washington State 12 #2 Oklahoma 38, #20 Oklahoma State 35 #4 Auburn 42, Kentucky 10 Game 9 #1 USC 28, Oregon State 20 #2 Oklahoma 42, #22 Texas A&M 35 #4 Auburn 35, Mississippi 14 Game10 #1 USC 49, Arizona 9 #2 Oklahoma 30, Nebraska 3 #3 Auburn 24, #5 Georgia 6 Ranked Opponets within 25: USC: 2 (#7 California, #19 ASU) OU: 3 (#5 Texas, Okalhoma State # 20, #22 Texas A &M) AU: 3 (#4 Lsu, #8 Tennessee, #5 Georgia) #1 USC 42, Washington State 12 Box Score | Recap | Highlights #2 Oklahoma 38, #20 Oklahoma State 35 Box Score | Recap | Highlights North Carolina 31, #3 Miami 28 Box Score #4 Auburn 35, Mississippi 14 Looking through the stats. and the schedules I think Auburn should be #1, followed by Oklahoma At #2 and USC at #3. What do you guys think?? GO SOONERS jai NEpal

Auburn at #3 in the polls (though closing the gap!) is still a reflection of Auburn starting out low and creeping up slowly while USC and OK have pretty much been consistent at the top spots all year long. Not exactly a newsflash, I know, but I tend to think that Auburn is dealing with two things that have hurt them now: 1) the hangover from the 2003 flameout, which caused Auburn to be ranked not in the top 5 or 10 but 16, I think, to start the season, and 2) Ball State bailing out on Auburn before the season started and Auburn having to get The Citadel in as a late replacement. Even as something as mundane as replacing a bad MAC team with a bad D-1AA team now is huge. I yelled and screamed for Auburn to get UAB for a one-game deal, a decent three OOC games would have helped, and unfortunately, Auburn is suffering for that oversight. Getting no love from 6 computers which is one-third of total BCS points, but Auburn can really pass the Oklahoma after the SEC championship(provided they win and win with a blowout), AP and Coaches poll are surely going to rank Auburn ahead of OKies and maybe USC. Since AP and Coaches polls accounts for two third of total BCS points, things should be not that bad for Auburn. Good things never come easy for Auburn, which is why I love them so. That, and the chicks.;) Go Auburn!! Go Falcons!!

Week 10 results.... carnell and unknown were tied with 10 wins for week 10. I didn't see a single game :=) It's nice ot see porud bro jumping to Tigers bandwagon now ;) what happened to OSU and OU now??? I don't know anything about SEC. When I checked the Coaches Poll this morning, there were 2 teams from PAC-10(USC, Cal) and Big 12 (OU, Texas) conf. I dunno how can you say SEC is better than other conferences. here's the nos of teams from diff conf on coaches top 25 list. Pac-10 : 3 teams Big-12: 4 teams Big-10: 3 teams SEC: 4 teams ACC: 4 teams Auburn and OU still need to play their conf championship game so it's far from over. I wanted to see Badgers to play for the championship game :( aakash bro, yes Huskers will be playing some meaningless bowl game. Did your ead the news abotu the coach, I hope the univ can make that excuse to fire him and bring Barry Alvarez to coach next year or promote Husker great Turner Gill. I am tired of seeing my beloved Huskers as a mediocore team. I want to see power running game and huskers panckaing opponents. Huskers need to win next game agaaints CO Buffaloes and Iowa State (WHO???) Cyclones to lose both game to be eligible for the Big 12 title game. Still got some hope :s

Dear AX bro, Seems like you don't know much about College Football...(If you don't know SEC, you don't know College Football)..(ALSO If you don't know ACC you don't know College Basketball). It is not that WE say, it is the College Football pundits say (of courese based on historical data) SEC is the best College Football Conference. ACC might going to catch them in next few years once they include Boston College on ACC Conf and once they start playing ACC Conference title game once they have 12 colleges they can have Conference title game). Big 12 and Big 10 has disapointed this year, otherwise they are also powerful conference. Some fact about SEC: Largest Revenue from TV (No any other conference are not even near close) - Average attendance are higher than any other conference. - At least Seven team gets automatic bowl bid. Dear Carnell Williams, No matter what their records are, ALABAMA and AUBURN game (The Iron Bowl) is always close. There are so many upset in past history. It really doesn't matter what their records are when they play each other. Remember they have to play in Tuscaloosa in Bryant deny stadium (the home of ALABAMA Crimson Tide). Only once Auburn has won in that stadium. SEC is already tough conference. I can smell big upset ROLL TIDE beating the WAR EAGLE.
