What happens if madhesis show their dissatisfation on KTM s street? But the reason on which they are showing their dissatisfaction is really sad? I dont know why people like more the language they dont speak then the one they speak. And besides why do some madhesis link themselves more to HINDI then NEPALI when they all have same root of sanskrit, share the similar words as hindi does, and is spoken by more people in the country they live (NEPAL) then hindi. It seems that the people on street are more patriotic to DElHI then KTM.

Its free world and people can go to the place where hindi spoken and stay there..... Thats what I think........ After we dont need visa to go and work there.

I totally disagree with the post.What Jha has done might be wrong , i dont want to say he is wrong or right bcoz if  he has done wrong, it has to be corrected  by hook or by crook according to consitution. If any indian tribe have migrated to Nepal and has been living in the country for many years for many generations then it doesnot mean they are not  nepali. Now they have already become part of nepali cultures and nepali tradition. They have equal rights like other people living in the country. One simple example -People of nepali origin  residing in darjeeling have indian citizenship.They have been living over there for many generations. They have been protesting against the indian government wanting for Gorkhaland. Indian people  have already apapted that they are now indian and nepali language has become the part of their constitution.I dont mean Hindi  language should be kept in our constitution.  And I also dont mean that these protestors are doing right.  But why should people comment saying how dare they protest in kathmandu. These comments always bring racial barrier between people and there is chance of new civil war between people for superioty of their race. If an indian is protesting ,then it might be a different case.

ur analogy between darjeeling and ktm does not make sense. first of all, population of darjeeling is mostly nepali speaking nepalese with rai community as majority and second of all, it was part of Nepal once. but was ktm ever part of india? does ~ 29 million nepalese speak HINDI? do u even know how much of the entire population does the so called madhesis represent?

i agree people migrate but i also know they assimilate to the culture and adopt the way of the life whereever they go. however, in our case, immigrants and their decendants and their elected leaders are more interested in making Nepal a second Bihar instead of calling it HOME. today, u saw their decendants protesting to support HINDI speaking politician and if we remain mute it is difficult to predict what's gonna happen next. And then people like YOU might as well embrace HINDI as ur MOTHER TOUNGE. should not be hard for u because a politician taking oath in HINDI is okay with u.

I think most of us are hypocrites: we love to watch hindi movies, we sing hindi songs, like to get dressed up as indian actors, love to follow typical indian traditions... so many.. we never get focused on what we really are. It won't make us true Nepali just by cussing Indians, it won't make us respectful in front of other nepali letting them know how much we hate hindi language. we must stop singing hindi song while taking shit! I don't have to let any one know how much i love Nepal, I can even challenge anyone of you  in one on one nepali speaking competition. Change must come from within.
