I know this topic has already been beaten to fine paste everywhere including sajhaland, but the question still remains: who among Obama and Clinton is going to compete against the republican old man McCain in the coming presidential bid in November? Today's primary in Pennsylvania is important for both of them, perhaps more so for Clinton. With just over a month to go before the completion of all nationwide primaries, here's what I feel about today's contest: 1) If Clinton loses, in my personal opinion, it's over for her. 2) If she wins, and by a hefty margin (say a double digit lead, like she did in Ohio), the fight is going all the way to the 'brokered' convention in August, unless Obama manages to literally crush the lady (:P) in NC and IN primaries next month (which is not very likely although Obama may walk away with wins there by slim margins) 3)If she manages to pull off a win by a small margin, say (5-7)%, we will still find ourselves in the same damn vicious circle as far as uncertainty is concerned but sooner or later, this is going to go in favor of Obama (again that's what I personally feel). So, unless Clinton wins by a double digit lead, it's still Obama vs. McCain. And this is my take (based on my gut feeling :P) :Clinton is going to win by 9% (meaning one more or perhaps few more months of 'bitter' verbal exchange and plenty of drama to be showcased and unfolded)

.LooTe bro!!
I don't understand why are these Americans playing the "Test Version" of election, when a developing country like Nepal has already played the "Twenty20 Version" of the CA election. very long versions have started getting boring these days. ;-)
Oh!! we are talking politics here, right? My bad!!

I guess Christ Matthews will be charged and in full swing by the time I get home and switch on the telly so I am thinking of ordering Chinese and watching the results .. ha ha . So who are you watching the results with? (Don't tell me one of your hottie face book pals - dang you Loote!)

Camo If we had a primary process in Nepal, maybe we wouldn't be stuck with the current crop of leaders. Just a thought. Hope you are doing well. :)

Clinton is going to take it all the way to the convention for sure even if the prominent Democrats intervene. Speaking of Chinese food, they deliver in my hood only within one mile radius and of $15 minimum order. That's why, I pick it up on my way home every time. 'Gotta love that yummy General Tso's Chicken!

Bon appetit Mr Hyde! :) I am sick of the whole process now. If this turns out to be brokered convention with back room dealings and shit, they might as well disband the party. And yeah, I am looking forward the more tax-cuts under McCain that I can spend on more Chinese food. I don't need them, never really asked for them, but if these bickering asses can't sort it out, hey, maybe we all deserve some more tax cuts, budget deficits, wars and god knows what else.

.Captain,
Now that is a pretty hypothetical question. Just read a news that Police Club (former Mahendra Police Club) is preparing to participate in the AFC Presidents Cup this year too. ANFA could not organize the Primaries in Dashrath Rangasala this year and decided to go with the previous winner. George Bush would definitely love that, wouldn't he? he he he!!
I am fine. Hope all is well there too.
I love Chinese food, specially when its my turn to prepare dinner. :-)

Guys, Looking at your comments and not looking at the topic, i thought we were talking about the fotball game, ok champions league to european nepalese out here. Was just about to write, any of the sajha cheerleaders group willing to volunteer:p Turned out to be Stephen Colbert version of "Democrlyptus" (apparently strt forward) Hadddock, no six pack, just the chinese. You are cutting some sear fun of amazing verbal abuses better than "Yo Mama" and backstabing better than I dunno may be "Flavor Flav" . N who doesn't lover the Flavor Flav??.'-) Hydee: Was it just the becoz they dont deliver or you are hitting that chinese steamy(literally hot) chick in that 10 sq foot chinese shop. Just an advice, make sure not to hit the Asiatic "Kill Bill" version.:p Camo: No candle light dinner with your wife while watching Democratic Soap Opera?

Camo bro!
Right on my friend. hahaha..you spoke my mind there. Having seen 20-20
in Nepal, this snail-paced american test all of a sudden looks boring and what's
more, with verbal exchange and tussles muscles in abundance on and off the field,
it's nothing more or less than the Bodyline series between Aus and Eng back in those days hahaha..
Caps,
HAHA..american sports with chinese food? that would be an interesting
combination. just goes to show how china's been feeding their stuffs to america haha.. but looking at the standard these two contestants have shown
over the last few weeks, may be some local indian food (chatpate
gadiwala--not meaning to disrespect ni phero) sounds more apt to the occasion to
me hahaha..
And I agree with you there. At some point, we do need primaries in
Nepal to burn those a$$ of old fart good-for-nothing leaders :D
as for hottie fb pals are concerned, i don't deny that there are few:P,
however, they would not care a damn for somebody who is interested in
this lousy bloody politics game instead of giving all ears to their never-ending-tantrums, you know what i mean...:P
Hyde,
You too? haha..looks like i too need to grab some chinese food on my
way back home. just for the heck of the spirit-- Ode to my pals and the test game on TV. HAHA..
good to see my fav. people in this thread :D :P

Yo mav! what's up, you sajhaholic? hahaha For the greater goods of Democratic party, it's imperative that Clinton looses today :P. I wonder how many of Clinton or Obama supporters will vote for Democratic party, if their favorite doesn't win the nomination. McCain should tailor new suits with deep pockets (to confine them democratic voters in it) IMO :P

Mav - Backstabbing? No, I am calling them out to their faces and condemning the circus that this has turned out to be. I have had enough of this back and forth over petty nonsense. Loote - Where I live, Kung Pao chicken is as American as taco, pasta and pizza. :) It's pretty much Obama country here. I see "O" signs everywhere and have been reminded by both campaigns to vote.

Oh that's my fav. caps--kung pao. I love the flavor. That's the one I got which is as close to my all time fav. wai wai flavor :D. I knew you're in Philly (had checked your profile a week or so back :P)...it's an american-african dominated province-- no wonder Obama is a clear fav. there. :D so what's your take on today's contest? Let's say prediction :D

Oh yeah i also stopped watching and reading election news. Its boring to read about the two idiot candidates stabbing each other. I used to like both of them but after seeing all these non sense, i don't even like both of them. I better prefer watching the recent polygamist and non sense news over these two idiots.

Loote Well, that's true of the city areas, but the burbs are predominantly white and there are plenty of Asian families too. I see more "O" than "H" signs but that might be so because "O" supporters appear to be more passionate - at least where I am. I haven't lived here long enough to know the nitty-gritties of PA politics but many people seem to think Hillary will win. I love upsets and think it would be a kicker if he could pull one tonight. However, looking at the polls (although polls have been wrong before most recently and notably in NH), it seems this is hers to loose.

ss, where have you been and how have you been? pleasure to see you here :D seriously, the race is getting tougher for democrats (regardless of whoever wins the nomination). reminds me a lot of Carter vs. Reagan era. McCain can well be next Reagan in the race and emerge out victorious. The fight between O and H is also akin to Michael Dukakis vs. Jesee Jackson in the 1988 presidential nomination for democrats--Dukakis won in the end only to lose to George. H. W. Bush in the following presidential election.

Mark my words; the prospect of Sex, Money and Power make you do things you initially never wanted to do. Despite being excellent candidates, these big three have been dragging each other into the mire since the other weakest links got voted out. After all, that's politics which is played out in similar fashion anywhere in the world. I do agree that zeal in the people who were following the primaries closely has certainly died down significantly.

I am doing good, kind of busy. I check this site but don' t feel like writing. What about you? I also think McCain will be the one to win the election, i have lost respect for both democratic candidates. Once Obama becomes candidate, you will see more of the dirty laundry coming from Obama. As for Hillary everybody knows who she is. So who ever becomes nominee its like a win win situation for republicans. Have you noticed that dick morris, i hate that fat man, as soon as he starts speaking, i just change my channel. I like watching news but lately i just switch my channel when ever there is election cat fat coverage.
