well that depends as far as i think .. like people who got citizen can call them self American or whatever they think of them .. but they can't change their skin color or the place or birth..
past couples of yrs i have nor only heard but also seen such jerks who try to make them self America.. WHAT the hell do they wanna show... or prove ha..
I have also seen such people who feel shame to tell others that they are Nepali..
look at me I'm never scared or afraid to tell anyone that im from a very poor country .. BUT i feel proud to tell everyone abt my countries HISTORY and their culture and costumes.
and i never felt any dishonor feelings towards my country...
I still respect my country and do pray it when ever i get time..

Well does it really matter whatever you call yourself,,it matters more of what you do,,and what you do to make nepal known to the rest of the world,,if i were to come here and work in some dhoti's gas station just for heck to coming here,,having a honda civic or camry and act like " wanna be rapster" i would be ashamed to introduce myself as a nepali,,,nepal ko be-ijjat garne,,,yeah of course if i did something that my parents could be proud of ,,then of course i'd have my nepali identity in front of me,,so that people like you in identity crisis would know what to do

Older I get, the more prevalent my roots get. So, yeah I'm technically an American but there is a plenty of room for Nepal in my heart. Don't get me wrong but I have taken an oath to defend USA and I'll honor my conscious decision as well.

-There is confusion at all..It's not like living with two wives. I'll enjoy the knowledge and values of the both countries to take a responsible course.
