We are Saddened and sorry to let the community members know that Mr. Gourav Rajbanshi, the only son and loving member in his family, a good friend, a bona fide student in El Centro College, was shot to death at his work place in DNS Food Mart in Bedford Texas around 4 PM yesterday. He was 28 years old. It is a great loss to our community. May God give his member of family enough strength to bear this great loss and May his soul rest in peace.

Parents back home in Nepal are contacted by friends and keens in the US are one the way to Dallas. In this regard Nepalese society Texas is holding a meeting on 12th June 2007 around 6 PM in Pasand Restaurant, Irving, TX. NST will proceed further as per the consent of the family members. Rajmati does not take a responsibility to find folks a job in TX, He is just giving you all (if you are from TX) a suggestion. Rememeber how many ppl got shot and killed at gas station just in recent years. we all know its risky but you don't need to sacrifice your life for those Dhoti and you can seek a job in different place. I know TX is not the only place in the whole Nation.
Let me give you an example, Back in 1997 Omaha was blooming for jobs and INS raided some appt and almost 3/4 nepali student fled omaha. Now they are scattered all over the US and doing good. Thats (fled Omaha) is better than getting deported but this case (getting shot) is worst than getting deported. Thats what Rajamati meant
