i would like ask suggestions with u all....uknow guys...my one fren is arrested for DWI (driving with intoxication.....drink N drive) and he is in jail right now...he was academically under probation II...that means he may be out of status...and its been 4 dayz he is in jail...some say he may be deported....i m worried of myfren....if u all have any idea plz share with me...i need help

...if it is first offense, DUI is normally a misdeameanor in most states...generally first time DUI offender r released within 12 hrs from the jail with court date...unless u r friend has previous arrest records or if he was also involved in some property damage/accident while driving with intoxication there is no reason why they should put him in jail for 4 days...

its from the last tuesday..heis up there in jail...when was the case that u were in dwi ZEN....recently cases are being looked by INS....so....N its his firt time.....he has no previous record....

I dont have the exact answer but that is not a serious crime to be in jail for 4 days.

Dear score, I suggest you dumping your friend, if you are sure that he was intoxicated while driving. Drinking and driving is a criminal offense. He could easily kill many innocent people. Jail is the best place for him.

Please bro, if you want to post some thread,first learn somthin about it. You dont even know what your fren is in for. It's not DWI its DUI (Driving Under Influence). N for ur fren nothing u can do right now. lets just hope he will be in a court with nice judge and better fren who knows what he is saying when he is talking to the cops.

A DWI/DUI is a minor offense...in Jail for 4 days begs the question if he had something else in his car....say pot, or any other drugs, or if there were other stuff in his records that you/he was not aware of....Usually, DWI/DUI folks get out of the jail the next day with some bond...U might wanna get some attorney help in this case !

Score looks like your friend is in serious trouble. even if he is released by police or ins, he is academically screwed up. what can one do ? if you are a close fr of him I would say to let his parents know about his situation. they would be able to help their son.
