it may not be possible for a state to hear the voice of all 28 million nepalese. few of them are educated, few are rational, analytical and experienced. so these elite groups most definitely have more weightage in the civil society. if someone can argue logically then he/she can well be into that elite group regardless of his education and experience. there is no election as such which decides whose voice to be heard and whose not, in any civil society. we can vote and chose the leaders of our choice.

don't get bogged down by what others say. try to judge them with rationality. if you are severely frustrated, you may want to write an article for nepal magazine or sth to get a visibility. that's what media is for haina?

I dont think so you know well about these people. As far as I know these people represent some NGOs. like Devendra Raj Pandey, Arjun Karki(RRN). They are more than a dictator in their NGOs. They are getting millions of rupees from foreign aid and nobody knows where they are using it. They are talking in favour of transparency but they themselves deny to be transparent.

In my opinion these people are the notorious corrupt which people are still unknown to. They are hiding everything by diverting things towards politicians only.

These traitors have no morality and no right to represent Civil Society.Lets deny them.

i am not too aware of the detail proceedings for a CA. i am not too sure if it's possible to include all normal people, especially when more than 60% (?) of us are illeterate, can take part in CA. we've got to let the cream out of them to represent us in the CA.

i understand that those elites should refrain themselves from politics but some interventions are inevitable or at least seem biased, as political beliefs come into play. for instance, someone's views might be coherent with a party's policy(manifesto). that does not necessarily mean that he/she is politically biased. a normal/unbiased civilian may have views which happen to be in accord with those of maoists. can't help!

I forgot the name of Devendra Pandey`s NGO. But the real fact about his NGO is, it splits like every communist party does in Nepal. I witnessed once in Gorkha where they were working in remote with GTZ fund. While working they have become two and didnt know how to continue work, as a result the work was stopped for about 1 year.

What is the truth behind splitting the NGO? If he himself cant handle one NGO, how dare to represent whole Civil Society?

You may not know well about INGOs and NGOs in Nepal. These are the people who have inspired INGOs to be unfair. They are giving commision to individuals of INGOs staffs.

And Civil society have not right to raise party ideology. They are running after Maoists voice right at this moment. Ofcourse its the mandate of people to have CA election. Maoists are still terrorising. Is it possbile to hold the election in such situation? Why dont these people, so called representatives of Civil Society, raise voice against Maoists excessism?

How fair is it to pressurise government only? Its impossible to clap with a single hand.
