ocenus, Where are you located? I may be interested. My OPT will be starting beginning of Jan 07 so just keeping my options open. I have some experience with Siebel but as a quality engineer only. BTW, "The company i work for is estimating 100 new employees by december 08"... Is this the client company or is it the consulting company? Your response would be appreciated. Thanks..

Hey man, it's the firm wanting to hire 100 people not the client. The firm works with pretty much all fortune 1500 companies... to name a few... cadbury, american cancer society etc etc.. ... and they do sponser H1B visas, if they hire you after your training is complete... and like i said it's a paid training program.... The headquaters is based out of MN but the project center is in eastern ND... about 45 mins west of fargo...

Starting Range is about 40K... and if u already have siebel experience it goes higer but if ur just training in then when u stat's it's around 40k with benifits... bianual review goes with that too.. so there's a good chance if ur good at what u do u'll get a raise... no for training right out of college or people with some it background works... no siebel experience needed... that's why they have a training center... the training period pay is about 14/hour... which if/when hired turns out to be about... 20/22/hour.. . To be honest in ND 40K especially right outta college is more than u can ask for.. microsoft/great plains which is based outta fargo pays around the same range for starting/entry positions.... since the cost of living is really cheap it's a pretty good deal...

Hey Guys: I am planning to get into FICO Module of SAP. Can anyone give me the names of good consultancy for that? Because there are a lot of consultancies, it's very hard to distinguish a good one. Some do not have a good client base, so may be we end up with taking a long time to get a project. I have heard that some of the H1 filings are also rejected by USCIS done by incompetent consultancies. I would really appreciate your seasoned suggestions. Bond-007, did u hear it? AmtiT

Elixir, I work for a advisory compnay which does lot of stuff with fortune 500 co. Mostly Business Risk and Project Management type. Its not 100% techy work. Lot to do with their Business Process, their effectiveness etc etc. Don't fall into impression that you need to work for consultancy co after college. There are many companies which offers better $$, does H1 B. Desi counsuntancy appear to exploite their employees. Good Luck Job Hunting.. BTW start applying for job now if you r Sr. now. Its time to be in for Summer '07 hiring. Good Luck

i think they dont prefer hiring people on tourist visa. but if you graduated from US college it is very very easy to sign on any of these companies. infact theese people have started advertising freely.. in my college career website i noticed a few of those dhoti companies were listed. i was a bit shocked... but yeah to answer your question , if u came in tourist visa, i think it might be difficult to find a company to sponsor your H1B. but again different company have different policies, so maybe some other company might let u work. -lato

The government would be able to identify companies that have been blacklisted through the e-procurement or electronic procurement system, Federal Secretary Datuk Isa Kassim said Tuesday. He said that with the system, companies would not be able to use any illegal method to make procurements as all personal details would be recorded online. "All information recorded electronically cannot be erased or altered as this system incorporates a high level electronic security system," he told reporters after launching the E-Procurement Supplier Registration System here Tuesday. He said the e-procurement system would open up a wider market and more opportunities for suppliers of goods and services to increase their earnings while costs would be reduced. Through the system suppliers would be able to also conduct procurement transactions with the government in a more transparent, faster and effective way. Isa said that the system which replaced the Finance Ministry Registration System (SPKK) 2000, would enable suppliers to promote their products, receive, manage and process purchase orders as well as receive payments from government agencies through the internet. "Suppliers who participate in the system would be able to increase their efficiency and enjoy security for any procurement transactions between them and government agencies," he said. "All applications for new registration, renewals, re-registration, expansion of scope and bumiputera status for suppliers of services and goods to the Sabah and Sarawak Treasury can be done through this system," he said. Isa said the registration could be done through the eProcurement system via online through its web site at www.eperolehan.com.my. He said that the services launched by the federal agencies in Sarawak would include registration for suppliers, followed by procurement through Direct Purchase and Contract Centre which would be launched this June. "Two types of procurement systems to be launched by end of this year are the procurement through tender and price quotation," he said. He said the e-procurement system, an important feature under the e-Government, had been successfully implemented in Peninsular Malaysia in stages since October 2000. "Todate there are more than 51,000 suppliers registered with the Finance Ministry through the e-procurement while about 4,000 suppliers from Sarawak are expected to register with the system," Isa said. He said that suppliers in Sibu and Miri keen on the system could contact the treasury at: 082 421 333. The ePerolehan system is a joint effort undertaken by the Finance Ministry with local company, Commerce Dot Com Sdn Bhd (CDC) on a Build, Operate, Transfer (BOT) basis.

I am making a blacklist of businesses who spam bigtime, don't do business with these people!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It will be at http://webking.tv/blacklist.html Posted by: Daniel on January 9, 2003 02:14 AM I respect you a good deal jud, but in this case, I think you are wrong. People who send spam are thieves and tresspassers. If your neighbor supports people who did this in real life, wouldn't you try to pressure your neighbor to stop? (At the least tell the police what you know) These blocking lists are more like a Newspaper that tells the public who is providing support to criminals. It is then the public who responds by configuring thier mail servers to deny access to the thieves (spammers) , the people who let them fence thier ill gotten gains(websites that host them), and those who drive the getaway cars.(mail servers and ISPs who let them send thier spew) P.S. thank you for the work you did on Claris Emailer. Posted by: David Dean on February 17, 2003 09:00 AM Guess what, the email address I used to post my comment has been harvested by a spam bot. I created the address just to post to this forum, so I know it happened here. Hey jud, on whom do you place the blame for that? Posted by: David Dean on March 17, 2003 10:21 AM That funny, lets use your logic some more. Lets say someone in your neighborhood is stealing and tresspassing, and you don't know who. You say pressure your neighbors to find out who and to stop it, but with email you black list ALL of your neighbors reguardless, You should go after the car dealers too, becasue they sold the getaway car to that thief. In fact we should just stop selling cars becasue it leads to thieves. You could probably sue the engineer that designed the car and put him in jail too. Lets just pull the entire neighborhood into court, and blame them all, so you can make sure you get the one bad guy. Absurd logic you have, you should block that individual that is responsible, not everyone, but since you can't stop the individual you are going to black list the whole neighborhood. Why not just use a firewall or ISA server and just filter it like the rest of the sensible world does. Posted by: Brad on March 17, 2003 02:43 PM I agree with the most cheapest way to protect thyself. Block and then talk. All major users of the internet (wich hold many email addresses) can be reached by post, phone, fax and alternative email addresses. Complaining about blocks usually leads to a solved issue and continued business. But the received spamm only wastes our pressious time and occasionally crashes computers due to attached virusses. In short my motto 'Block.. then talk' Gr. Mike ps. email is fictive due to the warning above., Posted by: Mike on June 15, 2003 04:03 AM SPAM is getting out of control. My system gets bombed by SPAM daily. I have finally given in and am using the blacklists to help and it has stopped about 70% of the SPAM so far. I am adding more blacklists to get this under control. Some will block an entire range, that is unfortunate, but if the ISP is facilitating spammers and does not take measures to stop it, the only recourse is to send them a big message and block their mail from their entire range. Is it throwing the baby out with the bathwater? Sometimes, but it is my server, and I will take that chance to give me and my system some relief from the intense barrage I get daily. Posted by: Joe on June 15, 2003 12:58 PM Whilst blocking entire ranges of IP addresses is sometimes overkill, in certain circumstances, it is the only sure fire way at present to prevent spam. Most spammers utilise a dial up, or dynamic IP addresses, so blocking their ISP is often the only way. I, in common with a lot of the internet community received over 500 spammed emails yesterday as a result of a mail list that utilised harvested addresses. Blocking of the ISP's range of addresses with a stern bounce message to postmaster@domain was the only way to stop it. In terms of expected content/spam ratios, I currently receive over 50 spam emails per day (filtered via spamassassin) with only two that are relevant/or expected. Roy Posted by: Roy on June 22, 2003 10:09 AM my dear , compeliment of the day ,hope this message finds you in good health ,please my dear am wan't you to infom me waht is going ,looking forward to from you bye and remain bless your kind &honess your kingjoe
