From thread to thread, most of the comments on this forum are racially abusive to all the madheshis. I have got few questions for all those pahadi racist:
1. Why do pahadi people hate madheshis in general?

2. Why do you guys in this forum hate madheshis? Come on guys grow up, most of you all are living abroad, educated, civilized, you name it. It wouldn't hurt me if some guy from remote area in Nepal who is uneducated, doesn't know the madheshis are part of Nepalese society would be racist to me. But you guys how can you be racist to madheshis, seriously shame on you! I know all of you don't think like that but most of you pahadis do!

3. Why can't you guys see there is a fine line between Indians and madheshis?

4. Why do you guys hate Paramendra? Just because he's fighting for rights of innocent madheshis in Nepal who have been victims of the tyrrants in Nepalese society since ages. Paramendra has got a long way to go, thumbs up to him.

5. Would you want a Madheshland in Nepal? Imagine you have to get visa to go to Janakpur, Mahendranagar or Bhairahawa? Seriously, if you pahadi guys continue to treat madheshis in the same way there would come a day with "Madheshland" in existence. But personally I don't want a Madheshland, I just want a cohesive and progressive society in Nepal where all the ethnic people in Nepal work for common goal, that is nation's development!

To me everyone is equal, be it kami or damai, madheshi etc

I think people know that people living in madhesh are not all indian. I think the confusion sparks from the fact that people in most places in Nepal are used to calling Indians as madhisey.

There is a fallacy in that and we should correct it because we wrongly start treating our countrymen as Indians ie madhiseys.

Are you madhesi or nepali? You will notice these racial tensions as long as you consider yourself madhesi. Once you decide that you are nepali (not madhesi or pahadi) you won't see any racially abusive comments.

Dude! no offence but you are being racist yourself. Personally, I don't care if you are madhesi, pahadi or himali as long as you are nepali.

But millions of Nepalis back home and here in Sajha, have never considered the people who are a bit darker than them, who live in madhesh and who are poorer than them as people of Nepal. You know everything dude, more than 50 lakh madheshis are still devoid of citizenship in Nepal. There are millions of issues against madheshis in Nepal.

I'm sure you wouldn't have brought this up if you didn't feel any unjust in the society. I have sympathy for you and all the people who have been treated as a second class citizen. I think the problem is more of political rather than societal. But I'm not saying that there is no problem in the society. Awareness programs on tv would be more helpful in changing the society...people won't listen or try to understand if you shout out in anger....movies like '15 gatey' was pretty helpful in changing the perception towards different ethnic groups of people, i think.

The bigger problem is how do we differentiate between you guys? and worse of all they speak better nepali than you. so are you getting the point? I was born, raised and completed my college in what a handful of Nepalese call it MADHESH. Now I live overseas and am involved in healthcare field. I happened to born in Bramhan hindu family. What Paramendra rules has mentioned are facts. People living in Madhes especially those with the last name MANDAL, DHOBI, YADAV ETC. have heavely been exploited by those who are centered in Kathmandu mostly or in the SADARMUKAM of cities and towns. It is not only a poitical issue, it is a cultural and religious issue. It is a very big and a complex issue. Kathmandu always ignored MADEHS, alwyas supressed people living in Madhesh, always hid truth from them.Kathmandu never gave Madhesis equal access to the national budget throughoutt the history of independent Nepal. Madhesis were always been called DHOTI AND BHELE and treated as second class citizens. The culture of Kathmandu is 100% responsible for producing maoists because it always ignored poverty, the poor people. It always cut the budget and let the poor people die. Kathmandu added ring road and called it beauty, at the same time it ignored people dying of most preventable diseases in Humal and Jumla.However, the gun will not solve the problem. we have to make people realize the seriousness of problems.

Regarding citizenship..it is very easy to say so many people are not egtting citizenship.
