After reading blogs in Sajha.com I have come to conclusion that 9 out 10 Nepalese in US are either King haters or communists. Sad days have begun for Nepal. We will soon have Army, not Royal Nepla Army, our national anthem will change, our COUNTRIES NAME WILL CHANGE, AND NO KING!!!! WHAT SAD DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Shame to all the Neplese who hate King!!!! Because we will lose the LAST HINDU KING FROM MOTHER EARTH. Shame to King haters, now Nepal's suffering time has started. Shame to all Nepalese who sent funds to Nepal to give money to communists. If Kama Thapa has been arrested for 14 kiings, then WHAT ABOUT THE TERRORIST PRACHANDA WHO HAS KILLED OVER 14,000 innocent Men Women & Children???? Shame to all King Haters and Shame to all terrorist maoists supporters. SHAME ON YOU ALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ए स्वाँठ, यो पढिस्?... दरबारको खर्च 2002/03 मा Rs 126.3 million बाट 04/05 मा Rs 751.2 million पुग्यो, अर्थ मन्त्री राम शरण महतको अनुसार!! KATHMANDU, May 15 - Saying that the royal government did not utilize public expenditure in the productive sector but only increased public expenditures in a haphazard manner, Finance Minister Ram Sharan Mahat Monday revealed that following dissolution of the House of Representatives, expenditures related to the Royal Palace skyrocketed from Rs. 126.3 million in the Fiscal Year 2002/03 to 751.2 million in F/Y 2004/2005. Shame on you Kalki Kapil! Its not 9/10 but 9.99999/10 of Nepali in US are democrats. The ratio equally goes true in Nepal or anywhere in the world where you can see Nepali population. You have to review yourself too, why you are in so much minority.

i don't know a bout one's political belefs, tara just becasue some one hates the king does not make the person a communist. why cannot we hate the king just because ni? i hate communism and i hate the king. they are actualy both very very similar in many ways. one party state (sort of) - king's party, control of media- control of media, crushing of opposition- crushing of opposition, no free elections- no free elections, TONS of propaganda - tons of propaganda.......deja vu? i had some faith when he first took power. things only got worst. besides, dictatorships and tyrnany might work for a while, tara they dont establish lasting peace and stablity. mero bhannu tehi ho. don't quote me. mansion, i agree. he never never smiles, excpet on those pictures while he is on toursthat he gives to Departmetn of information to publish on front pages of all newspapers. with all the money he has, and the whole country under his regime, he can atleaast pretend to be happy

paras has nothing inside his head. he cannot think power politics like his father, neither is he shrewd....he probalby does not even care as long as he can ride around ktm in his harley, donning an armani, going to discos, forcing smiles to the camera, getting fat.......so if that makes him happy, i don't mind his smiles and if twenty five million nepalis want paras as the symbol of our unity, stablity, democracy and peace, i dont' mind that either.

Neither Gyanendra nor Paras define monarchy in Nepal. To call upon two people with their ineptness to totally uproot a system that has fed and sheltered Nepal is equivalent in saying that if you have a bad hair day, just get rid of your head. Any volunteers?

Vincent pasa, we had this discussion long time ago. you say monarchy is not defined by gyane and parase. then what defines monarchy. i do not know a single king in shah dynasty who can be an example as a positive side of monarchy. can you name one?

vincet, i am just one among 25 million nepali citizens. i am no political analyst. like everyone else, i am just a bystander who loves to give opinions, but lacks vision. who knows? may be we do need the king. may be we dont'. i am just sepaking from my perspectives. i think we should establish a republic in nepal ,with checks and balance at every single layer. i dont' think we should give the HOR supreme authoritiy, but give the supreme court equal power as well. but hte judicial system needs to be chcekd by something else so that they dont' abause it. what does the king do in this picutre? he is not helping us in any way. he needs millions of dollars to keep his high maintainence family and for tours around the world. we cannot really afford that. but again, if the majority of nepalis want him to stay, atl east as a ceremonial figure, then i have noooo problem with it. i will go with the majority. thah payanea what i just said is Not true knoweldge, but it is constructed, constructed from my expereinces, my perspectives. it is my personal analysis. but someone else might feel completely different and that is different. which one is true knowledge? no way of finding out. it is all in the head. bibhadra i thought prithivi narayan shah defined monarchy. now that is one king i would not mind, even as a dictator.
