well, it's all evident that hinduism is giving everything to these bahunes. from the social security in terms of social status to the continous source of income. They're all dieties. One can CHOOSE whether to believe in them or not. Believenng or not belieiving in those Gods, worshipping or NOT worshipping God's penis makes no difference to the very crux of Hinduism. They are all symbols

Shiva's linga is worshipped, especially by women. Here's the reason: Shiva is the father, the one who oversees everything and one, who in the end, destroys everything to re create the cosmos. Women worship his penis because they believe it's the purest one of all, the one that provides fertility to their own husbands.

Also Gods having multiple hands means they have multiple abilities, or in other ways, they have multiple ways of healing you , protecting you, doing good to you.

So all these funny things you see is MYTHOLOGY. Hindu religion, my mentally "incompetent" friend, cannot be understood in all its glory by social outcasts like you. In Nepal we're all buddhists and hindus. We have a mixed religion that incorporates both. Because in almost every home you find a buddha statue worshipped in the same way hindu gods are worshipped.

Lets think carefully about how unique Nepal is. When I tell Christians and Muslims and others that I follow two religions, two MAJOR religions, they are awed and think its so cool. It starts a conversation everywhere I go. I personally am buddhist.

And as a buddhist I apologize for my wrongful sayings above about you, but as a hindu I condemn you and am proud that I did it!!!
