KATHMANDU, April 25 - The meeting of the seven-party alliance (SPA) on Tuesday unanimously nominated Nepali Congress President Girija Prasad Koirala for the post of The Prime Minister.

For two reason this decision sucks..

1) He is involved or atleast being charged with and being investigated on for corruption
2) He does not support democracy in his own party ,how will he run the democratic government. Remember how he tried to kill Gagan Thapa in pokhara during NSU convention.

who becomes PM right now shouldn't be our concern. what system of government wwe will have is more important haina? tomorrow Gagan will be PM in abot 10 years. Girija will die (ram ram maaf gara bhagwan shiva) very soon he is not going to live forever. power is with people. if we can make RNA powered gyane kneel we can easily kick these netas in the nuts

I totally agrre with the growing sentiment that GP Koirala should not be the next prime minister. I have raised this issue before, Giija is somewhat responsible for bringing the country today in a big mess. We all want public apology from him. When late king Birendra was murdered, as a prime minister of the country, Girija could not come out publicly and assured people that as a prime minister, he would probe the incident and bring the truth out to the people. If he had done so, monarchy would have ended then but no, he acted like a chicken and shut his mouth. He has not shared with people regarding what he knows about the royal massacre. I hope, before he dies he will spill the beans.

Nepali congress, so called democratic party in the country doen not have democracy in the party. Otherwise, 85 year Koirala woud not be our prime minister again. But let's give Girija a benefit of the doubt. He was the one who initited 12 point agreeent with the Maoist when no one could break the ice. May be, he feels bad for what he did and did not do in the past, and corrects his mistakes once and for all and lead the country towards constituent assembly, and get rid of monarchy ultimately. Otherwise, People were not afraid of the despot King, Girija also will have to pay for his share of mistakes. I hope he can die in peace with pride.

RNAC needs another Plane re ke.....SO, he will make RNAC stronger (Yeah Right)....and in the process, Sujata needs some shopping money...after spending so much in the protest.....We all know, the most corrupt PM in the history of democratic era is back in power......Who said People fought for their rights? Have been positive since 2046 B.S.....and just tired of being positive ke......right about now....if we don't see major changes within 90=180 days..other than putting their relatives in key govt. positions......and fighting over which party will get which ministry.....Simply becoz same corrupt Netas are going to lead.......hard t oimagine new faces since all of the 205 sansads were a minister at one time or another........But, I still have my hopes alive..........

I don't understand why always Girija?85year old leader who is in his last time of his life .I am also surprise how he suppose to accept the proposals?He is too old to handle prime ministerial post.It seems the prime ministerial post is made for girija because he became prime minister so many times.Why he didn't deny the post and gave it to new leader of Nepal?I think he would be recorded as the most greedy political leader in the history of Nepal.

O Prajatantra, Kina bohulayeko? Girija jasto courageous manchhe aru kohi chha? Can you nominate the PM name other than Girija?
