There is a great possibility that Nepal without the King will become a state of India “Bihar†atleast by policy just like Bhutan. After all 90% of the politicians in Nepal are nothing but, Government of India’s B#tches. I totally understand that the King might not be the best interest for a country but under the current circumstances I wouldn’t rely on anybody else. International community doesn’t even understand the real situation in Nepal. India knows that it can do whatever it pleases with Nepal because most of the Nepalese politicians are their puppets. (if you don’t believe, just dig back and you will find how many politicians run to India every time their political careers are in jeopardy.) I can assure myself that until we have constitutional monarchy Nepal will still exist. I have no trust in the politicians that they won’t sell the country to India for their personal benefits. I am sure the name Nepal will be there but all policies will be in the hands of India. I am sure if you look back on who screwed us (Nepali people), on the Tankpur (1950 treaty), you will find that it came from the family of a so called democratic leader. Koirala’s have always screwed Nepal. They will always think for India first. If you think the rally is done out will think again. The maoists have ordered people from villages to send one person or pay a fine for Rs.200/day. The Maoists have warned the SPA’s not to back out even after the kings announcement. So under no circumstances I will support the politicians who have no ethics, who are idiots and support terrorism.

Maybe if he was a better King then people won't throw him out from his OWN country then. he he... Its up to him !! Its up to his ass to amend his relationship with his own countrymen. People feel betrayed by him, so its up to him to either SHAPE UP OR SHIP OUT.

Well Biggy, I don't agree with you about what you said that there is a possibility that Nepal will become something like Bhutan. I truly think that Nepal is already like Bhutan. If the SPA comes to the power, it will just be worse. What we will be doing is that we will be giving our rivers to India and then buy electricity from them. If you look at it, it will be a pretty good idea that SPA will have. You don't have to work hard making all these dams and stuff like that. Let India do all the manual work and just buy electricity from them. Bharat Mata bhi khus, Apana kursi bhi secure!!

I totally agree with Sikhar. If you do not agree with me you better read about History "How India acquired Sikkim". You will see the same thing happening in Nepal right now what happened in Sikkim in early 60s.

Guys, There are over 200 countries in the world, 99 % countries do not have kings, are they being taken by their neighboring countries? The answer is no therefore please come out of the belief that if the Kingship is over our nationalism is over. The kingship is nothing but the dictatorship. It is not the absolute solution for any country. You cannot jeopardize your life in the hand of some one who has not even been born. Who knows what is Parase's grandson is going to be like, as he can turn out to be a monster, worst than Paras. As long as there is a king in Nepal, regardless of the constitution, King’s greed for power is never going to abolished. We Nepali need to come out of the denial and be enlightened that the Kings are not the god's almighty that they want us to believe; they are humans just like us. May be even ruthless than us due to the centuries of uncontrolled power greed and monop

Thukka raja ko bhatuwa ho, india le line darr dekhauna thaleu aba hoina, dhikkar chha. Sikkim lai liyeko sanga parallel nikalnu agadi sikkim ko history padh gadha ho, bujnu na sujnu post nagar. NEPAL is nowhere like sikkim and india knows that. This fear tactis doesn't work . India lai linu nai chha bhane , believe me yo gyane ko darr le chahi ahile samma nali baseko hoina. I can understand that y ou guys are worried about the power vaccum after monarchy is removed, and possibly nepal will go through some rough patches BUT that is what is shaping as the right direction. Ani , tai tai gyanendre lai ta justify garlau re, ani tespachhi PARASE ni , Danka , will you still use the same logic when this fuc*er becomes the king ?? GROW UP GUYS, ACCEPT THE CHANGE

bornfree: I never implied Nepal will immediately become a state of India ... it will be a slow, gradual and subtle process .. whereby india with have total control over the state of affairs of Nepal and will rule Nepal by proxy of our "GREAT POLITICIANS' with the merging taking place over decades. DemRepNepal: see above post. See Tibet, see Sikkim and Bhutan for the most part. See Afghanistan under Taliban. naya lahure: as long as you see the king as a "malik", I have nothing to say. If you can see the Monarchy as a prominent identity of Nepal just like Mt. Everest .. that you will get somewhere. Bathroomcoffee: if you are telling me that the current crop of politicians are better at ruling the country and for the progress of our country, I really want you to share with me whatever you are smoking.

nepalichhoro: haha ... you said - NEPAL is nowhere like sikkim and india knows that. Do you really think India cares whether nepal is like sikkim or not. Do you really think indians doesnot have their eyes on Nepal. Maybe you should go back and read history and see what Indira Gandhi was doing to take nepal over in the not too distant past.

Simon 11, WTF, Kingship is dictatorship ? he he If he is a good king and really cares about his people, it not NOT DICTATORSHIP. Personally I never felt Kingship was dictatorship, Except for not being able to talk trash about the king... You have all the personal freedom you wanted in Nepal. Its only Politicians(who want the fukin power for themselves) and disgruntled citizens that felt this way. AND You cannot blame Gyaney for his KUPOOT son. Kingship is to dictatorship what Capitalism is to Imperialism. If democracy can with fourlish in Imperialism then it can in Kingship too. And the whole theory and India will eat Nepal up is full of crap too. If it tries to eat Nepal it will have serious Diarrhea which could lead to its demise. he he he
