7SEAPAR that's our habit. It doesn't matter who organize the protest rally we love to throw stones and destroy everything. We feel good. It was happened before and it is happining rt now and it will happen again and again.. But achievement is 00000

I agree with 7seapar. We nepalese are just too violent. whenever we go to andolan we destroy the infrastructures, booths ,shops. Another example is the kantipur newspaper imflammatory remarks on himalayn times. When 12 nepalese were killed in iraq we broke several shops, even the shops which have muslim name and had absolutely no connection with iraq.

texan and chameli, Not a political pundit ever, I prefer not replying to threads which disseminate hatred and malice rather than reaching out for a solution. Most of the Nepalese people, including me, always believe what we want to believe....period.We shut our ears to rational discussions and valid arguments that would help us get past the myopia of what lies ahead. Hrithik Roshan issue was a malignant political stunt which paid off very well...very well to demagouges in beguiling public. I was a victim of that stunt which was surprisingly in accord to the then democratic leaders, outlaws and ignorants. This is a political stunt which pays off well again.....the deceased in Kalanki (may he rest in peace, but that was his call) will soon be forgotten by madhav Nepal and Girija Koirala just like we forgot Pamfa devi and Lauda air issues. lokenda bahadur from diktel and shyam gurung from Banglung will return home happy after the leaders once again vanquish monarchy....only to criticize about the screwed up democratic system a year from now. The metamorphosis is same, we have witnessed it before, and I feel no pain or guilt or happiness in what is happening at the moment, we are repeating history again, this is all so much in the norm. Not looking for any altercation....just my two pennies.

Fight for no reason??? You better say...the killing is for no reason. The curfew is for no reason. Prohibitory orders against peaceful protest is for no reason.. Nepali people, full of drama? This is what the Bishnu's modern incarnation under estimates. Rome is about to turn ashes and Nero still continues playing flute? The king is about to pack up.

yes yes the nepalis make a big deal out of everything (esp the protestors). Thats the reason they put on curfews and violence. Maobadis were there in King Birendra's time too but that wasnt the greatest problems, if you wanna say thats coz of maobadis. Nepalis cant do nothing but protest on the streets. They just want to be in the centre of attraction. Why would singers, doctors, engineers not go for protestings? because they know nothings going to change by their steps.

King is bad: terribly bad, but certainly not the worst.... It's the king's grave mistakes that have overshadowed some of the worst people and their unpardonable sins at the moment. If you come to think of it, there are a lot of wolves in sheeps' clothings who are as bad as king, if not worse.
