I don't believe in ancient characters of ramayana n' mahabharat, but I've watched them. However, it doesn't justify to make fun of them who wants to believe in them. It's the tolerance n' afterall every story has its good n' bad parts, n' we can always be optimistic to look for good things in ramayana n' mahabharat to learn the lessons for us. I just watched the indian movie named 'Earth', please let's not try to repeat the same story in Nepal, Mr. John. How come our relationships and friendships are below our beliefs?

Mr. John, if you're smart enough try to raise some rational questions but again without trying to hurt other people's feelings.

GNLF bans worship of Saraswati idols also



SILIGURI: Gorkha National Liberation Front (GNLF) has banned the worship of Saraswati idols in the Darjeeling hills during Vasant panchami next month, a step aimed at "preserving its tribal character".

This follows the diktat of the GNLF supremo and administrator of the caretaker Darjeeling Gorkha Hill Council, Subash Ghising, who had disallowed worship of Viswakarma and Durga idols to strengthen his demand for recognition of the council under the sixth schedule of the Constitution.

Instead, in keeping with tribal practices, the hill people were allowed to worship "shilas" (stones) representing the god or goddess. All community puja committees in the hills accepted Ghising's diktat.

"We have to go back to our traditional culture as we have been offered in the sixth schedule," Darjeeling district president of the GNLF, Dipak Gurung, said. — PTI

Hey, I went to the zoo the other day and I saw Hanuman the immortal ape locked in a cage with tears in his eyes...I proceeded to throw a rotten banana at him and then I laughed...next, it was on to the elephant sanctuary where I threw peanuts at Ganeshji and made fun of his obesity...He refused to eat the peanuts, he probably wanted some laddu instead.... after all that, I was tired and hungry, so I said "Jay Shri Ram" and went to eat some hamburgers..With a great feeling of accomplishment, I came home and had a good night sleep..

... and woke up with a nightmare that I was trampled under the feet of the elephant when I slipped on the banana peel that I threw at the ape. The worst part was the prison warden was standing by my side with the allegation of feeding the contaminated food to the animals. If I stay alive I would have to face the allegation possibly jail term if I die have to face the deities I made fun of. Hey ram aba ke garne hola??... than I woke up with a diarrhea and had to run to the bathroom but I could not run because I became so fat eating fatty hamburgers and sh!t was all over..
