- नागरिक समाजले साउन १० गते आयोजना गरेको विरोध प्रदर्शनमा राजसंस्थाविरोधी नारा लगाएको र निषेधाज्ञा तोडेको हास्यास्पद आरोपसहित शाही सरकारले मलाई साउन १२ गते कायरतापूर्वक हिरासतमा लिएर राज्यविरुद्ध अभियोगको मुद्दा लगाउने तयारी गरेको छ । यो मुुद्दा राजाका निरंकुश कदमको सबैभन्दा मुुखर प्रतिरोध गर्दै आएको युवा र विद्यार्थी पंक्तिलाई आतंकित पार्ने साह्रै तल्लो दर्जाको चालबाजी हो । शाही सरकार अब आन्दोलनकारीलाई सके किन्ने, नसके थुुन्ने र बदनाम गर्ने निचतापूर्ण काममा लागेको छ । यही दमन उसको पतनको कारण बन्नेछ ।
संवैधानिक, नैतिक, राजनीतिक र वैचारिक रूपमा कुनै हैसियत नभएको यो सरकारले कुुनै पनि स्वाभिमानी नागरिकलाई मुद्दा लगाउने नाटक गर्नु आफैंमा ठट्टा मात्रै हो । त्यसमाथि पूर्ण लोकतन्त्रप्रतिको मेरो सक्रिय निष्ठा राजद्रोह हो भने त्यस्तो 'राजद्रोह' मबाट जीवनपर्यन्त भइरहनेछ । जनताको सम्प्रभुता र सार्वभौमसत्ताका पक्षमा हामी तरुण विद्यार्थीहरूको निरन्तर संघर्ष शाही सरकारलाई राजद्रोहजस्तो लाग्छ भने त्यस्तो 'राजद्रोह' का लागि म मन, वचन र कर्मले समर्पित छुु । हरेक दिन 'प्रजातन्त्रप्रति प्रतिबद्धता' को नाटक गर्ने तर प्रजातन्त्रकै गला रेट्ने शासकहरूको जस्तो दोहोरो मापदण्ड हामी युुवापुुस्ताको छैन । हामी जे हौं र जे गर्छौं, हिम्मतपूर्वक स्वीकार पनि गर्छौं । म चुनौती दिन्छुु, आज बन्दुकका बलमा हामीलाई अभियुुक्त बनाएर कठघरामा उभ्याउन खोज्नेहरूले निकै छिटो आफैं अभियुुक्त बनेर इतिहासको कठघरामा उभिनुपर्नेछ ।

यतिखेर म राजद्रोहको अभियोग खेपिरहेको छुु र दासतावादी शिक्षाको विरोध गरेको 'अपराध' मा सहयोद्धा विद्यार्थी साथीहरू प्रदीप पौडेल, ठाकुुर गैरे, सरोज थापा, बीपी रेग्मी, नारायण भारती र पुुष्प शाही सार्वजनिक सुरक्षा ऐन अन्तर्गत हिरासतमा छन् । जसले मुलुुकलाई अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय जगतबाट अलग्याए र संसारकै अछूत देशसरह बनाए, जसले प्रजातान्त्रिक विधि र प्रक्रियालाई कुुल्चेर मुलुुकलाई थप संकटतिर डोर्?याए, जसले नागरिकका अधिकार खोसे र मुुलुकप्रति तिनको आस्था र समर्पण कमजोर बनाए, तिनले हामीलाई 'राजद्रोही' र 'समाजद्रोही' सावित गर्न खोज्नुको कुनै तुुक छैन । यो सरकारसँग थोरै पनि नैतिकता बाँकी छ भने सबैभन्दा पहिले लोकतन्त्रका संवाहक र जनताका वास्तविक प्रतिनिधि राजनीतिक दलहरूमाथि प्रतिबन्ध लगाउनुपर्छ र अराष्ट्रिय तत्त्व घोषणा गर्नर्ुुपर्छ भन्दै हिंड्ने भाट भारदारहरूलाई राजद्रोहको मुुद्दा लगाओस् । यदि हामी तरुण राजद्रोही हौं भने अब सिंगो देश राजद्रोही भइसकेको छ ।

नेपाली तरुण र विद्यार्थी साथीहरूलाई मेरो अपिल छ- अब तानाशाहीको दाहसंस्कार गर्ने समय आएको छ । यो शुुभकर्म हाम्रै हातबाट हुुनुु छ किनकि इतिहासले हामीलाई यो जिम्मेवारी दिएको छ । हामीले पुस्तौंदेखिका बेथितिको हिसाब माग्नुु छ । अत्याचार र उत्पीडनको इतिहासलाई सच्याउनु छ । निरंकुुशतालाई सदाका लागि समाप्त पानर्ुु छ । प्रतिगमनविरुद्ध आन्दोलनरत दलहरूलाई तरुणहरूका तर्फबाट मेरो अनुरोध छ- अब संवाद आवश्यक भए राजालाई छ, दलहरूलाई होइन । राजासँग संवादको औचित्य अब समाप्त भएको छ । दलहरूले अब सबै मोर्चा आन्दोलनका लागि खोलुन् । अब फैसला कुनै दरबारमा होइन, सडकबाट होस् ।

नेपाल विद्यार्थी संघको महाधिवेशनको मुुखैमा र निणर्ायक संघर्षको आरम्भमा मलाई जसरी गिरफ्तार गरियो र जे मुद्दा लगाइँदै छ, त्यसले मलाई हतोत्साही होइन, बरु अरू साहसी बनाएको छ । जेल जानुपर्छ, झुट्टा मुद्दा खेप्नुपर्छ भन्ने थाहा नपाएर म पूर्ण लोकतन्त्रका पक्षमा उभिएको होइन, बरु ज्यानकै बाजी थापेर भए पनि सदाका लागि तानाशाही समाप्त पार्ने सपथ खाएर राजनीतिमा आएको हुँ । सचेत नागरिक समाज, देशभरिका विद्यार्थी साथीहरू, राजनीतिक दल, राष्ट्रिय अन्तर्राष्ट्रिय मानवअधिकारवादी र प्रबुुद्ध सञ्चारजगतले ममाथि राज्यको अत्याचारविरुद्ध देखाएको चासोप्रति म हृदयदेखि नै कृतज्ञ छु । निकै छिटो तानाशाही ढल्नेछ र पूर्ण लोकतन्त्रको अरुणोदय हुनेछ ।

I recently started to visiting Sajha and startled to see that the forum is infested with negative thinking neo-mandales. Most of these peoples' contribution to Nepal is rest their ass on a comfort of a chair in front of their computers and spit venom on those who are really trying hard and risking their lives for the good of the country. Just scroll upwards and read messages posted. Guys, I can see where your frustration is coming from but what you can at least do is to appreciate what these youth leaders (and yes youth- Gagan is only 29) are doing. I know the education system should be free of politics, but do not just rubbish the contributions student unions have made in the history of Nepal. They've always been on the forefront of major changes that has occured and unfortunately for Nepal this burden of bringing change lies on the shoulder of students.
Well done to Gagan and the team. Thank you very much for doing what you're doing to bring about right changes in Nepal. Today's youth must speak against the out dated two evil forces currently ruining the country.

first of all I wanna let all know that I have no clue who Gagag is unless recently after his adventure with the monarch. But as far as these students unions are student leaders are concerned I have not seen as positive aspects.

In colleges I have found these leaders take bribe to register students with low credentials. In this way lotta good students are left out. Not only this they are the ones who creating majority of problems in collefes. They are either gundas or backed by gundas and most of the violences are directly related to them. The cops cannot do anything to fix the problem cause whenver this bitches get arrested their pimp daddy leader come to rescue them.

Enough is enough. If you speak out for democracy, check out the meaning in dictionary, understand it first and respect the rights of the people live without any fear.

22 yrs old - 4 years of undergraduate program
24 yrs old - Masters
29 yrs old - 5 years for PHD
